Very easy to connect with my existing Hue family of products. It is dimmable, but it is limited. I typically keep the bulb at the lowest setting because it is on my desk and the even a little bit higher than low can be too bright. I’d recommend this bulb for a ceiling or chandelier light over a desk lamp

This is my first ever review on Amazon. And I’m writing because I’m pissed. My husband is obsessed with hue lights and the fact that he can change them to a light red color at night. I bought a beautiful lamp with an Edison bulb. I bought it specifically because I’d learned that Hue made Edison bulbs. I paid the exorbitant price and ordered it. Looked great, fit great, but shame on me for assuming that all hue bulbs will change colors. And shame on me for not thoroughly reading through reviews. But shame on Hue for making such a ridiculous product. Hue is known for COLOR (it’s right in the naaame lol). I don’t give a crap that you can turn it on using an app (in fact, I find that part a little annoying), but I can’t believe they’d approve a product that isn’t in line with their other products. It seems I’m not the only one. For your faithful customers, do better Hue.

It is a beautiful bulb and I really want it to work. Unfortunately the threads (I am guessing they are E26) are too short for the lamps I could use it in. It will not go down into the socket far enough before a very much wider piece of plastic just stops it from making the electrical connection.

Great bulbs. Work great with Hue app. They are fully dimmable and programmable thru the app. You cannot change bulb color temperature, only dimming level.

Put it in a Frank Lloyd Wright lamp. Very cool. Dimmable feature makes it authentic looking.

Ordered 3 of these bulbs for our kitchen in early January 2020. All was well for about two months before one of the bulbs randomly disconnected from the hub. Despite our best efforts (attempted to repair, reset Philips bridge, reset the router, attempted bypass Philips bridge and pair to Echo Plus as a hub instead, used a different light fixture, different outlet) we cannot get it to work. Instead, it just blinks rapidly like another reviewer showed in their video. I haven’t reached out to Philips yet, but hopefully they will honor their product as we are outside our Amazon return window as well. Will update if we find a solution or Philips responds.
