Philips Sonicare for Kids 7+ Genuine Replacement Toothbrush Heads, 2 Brush Heads, Turquoise and White, Standard, HX6042/94

Philips decided to replace the old Kids brush heads without telling, and for that I take one star off what it actually is a very good product. It replaces the Philips Sonicare HX6042/64 Replacement Brush Heads which are discontinued, if you find them you will have to pay an outrageous amount of money as they are very hard to find. The Standard size are now those for kids older than 8 or with big mouths, and the compact ones are for smaller kids. This is not even clear on Philips website so it took me some time to research and find the right replacement. A simple note saying it replaced the old heads now discontinued would have saved me plenty of time They are as good as the old ones, very high quality and long lasting. Given the price, you might be tempted to go for the generic heads but I wouldnt recommend it, you will be thinking your kid is cleaning her/his mouth the best way possible when in reality the knock-out head in doing a poor job. That and the possibility of them falling apart on your kids mouth, Ive seen that happen. You made an investment on the brush, these heads are the right call

Bought these for my granddaughter for her electric toothbrush . They work well but I wish they were a bit more cost effective. They were more expensive than the heads I buy for the adult toothbrush I have.

Ordered these for replacements for my kids electronic Philips toothbrush. They work. Wish they were a little cheaper, but is what it is.

These toothbrush heads are stupid expensive. $20 for 2. But we needed them, they fit my sons toothbrush, and they are exactly what we ordered. Besides not liking the price, everything was great.

The tooth brush heads with any kind of design on the back of the brush head which makes a break in the material allows moisture to get inside the brush head creating moisture build up and mold at the base of the bristles. I have tried different brands and my conclusion is that it is a poor design. The heads I have that are non porous on the back have no problems. Brush heads are not returnable so buyer beware. If you are looking for kids heads just purchase a soft/sensitive head made for adults. They also have smaller head size.

We bought our daughter what we thought was a disposable electric toothbrush until we found these. Fit perfectly and checkup with the dentist say her teeth are great. As long as the dentist is happy and easy for my daughter to use then its a win-win.
