No one in my family has ever played pickleball before but now that we have an outdoor court in our community and everyone’s talking about this game, we figured we’d give it a try. This set comes in a quality zippered case with two paddles and four pickleballs: Two indoor (or smooth court) and two outdoor. The set looks very nice with its attractive racquets (the color is a mix of different shades of muted blue) and brightly colored balls that are easy to locate. The carrying case makes it easy to transport as we walk back and forth to the courts and also to store between uses. We had to practically drag our 10 and 12 year old boys to try the game at first, but they’ve been having a great time playing (as have we grownups.) I think the kids especially like that pickleball doesn’t require as much effort as tennis! The rackets are easy to hold onto as well as lightweight and easy to maneuver, even for kids. Now that we’ve used the outdoor pickleball set a few times, it seems to be holding up well. There’s been limited wear and no cracks (which can be a common issue with these products.) It’s the perfect starter set!

These are nice pickleball paddles. They are lightweight, look nice and feel good. The handle is wrapped well–don’t forget to take off the shrinkwrap like I did at first! The case is nice and holds the 2 paddles and 4 balls well. Im sure these will help me become a better pickleball player! (haha)

We don’t have anything to compare this set to since we are beginners just learning the game. The paddles seem like a good weight. The grips are comfortable to hang on to. The nice case is an added bonus for storage and transportation.

I just wanted to try pickle ball and bought this two pack for fun and love it. Pickle ball is so fun and I love the paddles. Anyone can use them and they also come with balls.

This is a great beginner set including 2 paddles and 4 balls (2 for indoor use, and 2 for outdoor use). Its great to have the two paddles as I can play with friends who may not have their own set which can often be a barrier for a beginner. As the weather improves throughout the Spring this compact and high quality case will be perfect to bring on foot or on my bike to the nearby park. On an esthetic level the art print is very appealing and the paddle itself is very comfortable to hold. Looking forward to continuing to get more and more use from this set!

This is a great set for Pickleball, comes with everything needed to get started except for the net.. Paddles, Balls and a great storage bag. Paddles are quality and the balls are made of strong plastic.

I am just getting into pickleball, and have another paddle that is much nicer, but also so expensive that it’s really not necessary for me as a beginner, or worth buying more for getting the rest of my family into the game (it was about twice the cost of this set for a single paddle!). These paddles are very pretty, comfortable to use, and—while not quite as premium as my other one—work just fine for playing a game. The difference in play from my perspective was minuscule; perhaps an experienced player would be a bit pickier. I also love that it comes in an attractive bag, and includes two outdoor balls and two indoor balls. This is really a perfect set for getting started! And definitely an excellent value!

Perhaps they are pending approval but if you must have USAPA approved this item may not work for you. The paddles are great, nice quality, work well. The balls bounce less than other USAPA balls I have (and pickleballs dont have a lot of bounce to begin with!). If I hold the yellow ball from this set, and a yellow ball from another USAPA approved set, and let go of them at the same height, same time, The yellow ball from THIS SET bounces about 20% lower. I dont really like the balls that are included. The carry bag is handy! Overall I do like them for casual play. Would not use for competitive action.

I was very anxious to try out this pickle ball set from DGYCASI since I’ve played with their YC 16mm Pickleball Paddle and was extremely satisfied with it. In comparison, these paddles seem more targeted to the beginner player market (and their economical price point would seem to support that). These are fairly light paddles that seem very well made. The grips are relatively short but are comfortable and feature the same exaggerated ridges as the YC. They play towards the ‘control’ side of the shot spectrum as it’s a little difficult to generate massive ‘power’ with them. There’s a noticeable hollow-sounding pop when hitting. This could be the ideal set for an older couple wanting to try out pickleball for the first time. The included case and balls is a very nice feature. I also find the modulated purple design very attractive.
