Holds phone very securely and locks into position so your phone wont come out if bumped. This one is a little more expensive then the others but well worth it.

I like to carry light especially if Im recording with my smartphone. this thing adds a lot of weight! its quality for sure but you compromise weight. all the knobs can be confusing for those looking to just clip their phone on and shoot.
