Pieces Be With You Prairie Pointer Pressing Tool

This is a nice tool for pressing dresden points. I keep seeing people say they burned their fingers with it...and when used correctly that should never happen. You simply use it to turn the point, and hold the shape, then place the iron on it and remove the tool immediately. You do not keep ironing over the metal tool, because as we learned in grade school, metal heats up quickly. This tool makes it easy to get straight, centered points so no wonky circles anymore. However its been overpriced here for quite awhile. Its a fourteen buck tool. Dont over pay. It also works nicely with the double dresden points as well, which I have come to prefer as there are no raw edges to be concerned about. Happy quilting!

I absolutely love this little template. Odd to think that this little piece of metal could make such accurate prairie points. So easy. p.s. Watch the tutorial on the shabby fabrics site. Love the prairie points that have a lining. Two thumbs up!..

Handy tool for pressing into corners.

Works great just very sharp

Works well but could use a silicon coated piece to hole it. It does get hot.
