> 24 hourI have bottles and bottles of old meds from my husband before he was put in a nursing home. I knew I had to dispose of them but was overwhelmed by the amount I had. I was not sure about the whole diaper deal, or even a kitty litter thing I had heard. So when I had a chance I disposed of a great number of his old pills using my new Pill Terminator. It was so easy to use that I recommend always keeping these on hand and you will have no excuse for keeping old medications around the house, in the cupboards, medicine cabinets, and anywhere else you might keep your pills. Keep your kids, grandkids, pets safe and also the environment will thank you!

> 24 hourI picked up a couple of the Pill Terminators while on my trip to New Jersey earlier this year. I thought the price was very reasonable for what it does. Its very easy to use and provides a safe effective way to dispose of all my unwanted pills (Im retired). It may seem expensive at first for just a bottle as my wife called it, but the peace of mind we now have with our curious grandchildren around is priceless! The Pill Terminator does exactly as promised. Our home is much safer and I think every home should have a couple of bottles, no different than a fire extinguisher or smoke detector. Its a brilliant idea whose time has come!

> 24 hourI discovered so many old prescription and over the counter meds when I was cleaning out my parents home that I was overwhelmed. (Some of them were over 30 years old!!) And I couldnt find a local place to dispose of them. This is so easy to use! And I could just toss it in the trash can. I purchased the 6 pack, and then came back and ordered the 3 pack. I have one bottle left, that Im hanging onto for my own use. I hope I never find that many pills again, but if I do, Ill be back here to get more of these!

> 24 hourAs the caregiver of a dialysis patient, I regularly have to monitor changes in medication. The kidneys cant process too many meds, so at many times, my mother is taken off of medication. Once a year, we would typically give all of her expired medications to a nurse to properly dispose of. See, disposing of medications as you would dispose of toilet paper or rotten food simply isnt safe. More than 50 percent of U.S. adults improperly dispose of medication. Its important to look at your medication labeling to determine the safest way of disposal - but only a few are determined to be safe enough to be flushed. Water disposal causes those meds to end up in our lakes and streams, which can have a harsh environmental impact on wildlife and humans. Not disposing of medications can also lead to abuse and misuse of these medications. While every state has more than 5,000 take-back programs for medication disposal, the Pill Terminator Safe Pill Disposal Container adds convenience to this. The size of the bottle is about the size of a bottle of adult multivitamins. It can hold up to 300 pills, and can also hold liquid or powder medications. Simply put the medications in the bottle, add warm water according to the directions, and close the bottle using the child-proof safety cap. Then you can get rid of your meds knowing that no one can access them. It is meant for one use, so it might be best to use every few months to make sure all expired medications are gone. This is ideal for homebound persons, or those who are simply too busy to participate in a take-back program. Its also ideal for households with children. This item provides safety, peace of mind, and even helps get rid of the clutter left by expired medications. Its a great product, and as a caregiver, I highly recommend it. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

> 24 hourWent to a large medical meeting 2019. DEA and Medical board Reps completely stumped by the question what to do when patient brings back pain pills they dont want to use back to Dr Office. The Doctor cannot legally take them back, but needs to document their destruction. Only way to do it is witness the patient destroying the pills with these and then the patient takes home the pills in the pill destroyer. This way the Doctor can take picture of pills and pill destroyer witnessed by patient, Doctor and Doctors staff witness, have a picture record for the chart. Doctor should not even touch the pills. Have the patient destroy them with this bottle and dump them in their own home trash. Then Doctor can now safely prescribed a replacement with something else without concern that they will be taking both meds and overdosing or giving them away to someone else.

> 24 hourThis is easy to use but I couldn’t fit 350 capsules in one bottle. You can only fill it up to about halfway up the container. The rest of the room is for water. I can see that I need to find a much bigger disposal container. My doctor did tell me that I could dissolve pills in a bottle of Coke and throw it out!

> 24 hourNothing environmentally sound about this. However after you insert pills and the fluid makes them inedible…..You can put the pills in the garbage. Expensive. Maybe you could just add vinegar or some thing and your unneeded pills to a old, jar so that they are not usable anymore.
