Pinnacle Studio 26 Ultimate | Pro-Level Video Editing & Screen Recording Software [PC Key Card]

Ive used pinnacle studio 8 in the past then later switched to roxio which was a big mistake and I was dumb enough to purchase an update version. After you use roxio for a while youll start noticing it quits working without warning. I emailed the company and their reply was simply tough luck we dont support that version anymore so you will have to purchase a newer version which really sucked. It ended up doing the same thing again, just quit working. I know this review is about pinnacle studio 26 which I really like, just have to reacquaint myself with it. Im hoping they dont do the same thing as roxio of which Ill never buy their product again.

I paid what 90 bucks for a massively outdated video editing software with limited capabilities? Save time and headaches. Just get capcut or another free software. Whatever this stuff is outdated, it literally says 50s transitions on most of the things or has assets from their 9th version of the software.

Terrible, very expencive, and it doesnt work, thank god amazon gave me a refund. Love you Amazon, you guys are the best!!

For basic video editing (clipping, transitions, audio overlaying, etc) pinnacle is easy to use and does a nice job. Offers many options for exporting in various file formats. Adjusting video quality with color tweaking, noise reduction, etc greatly slows exporting time, FYI. However… The program has significant issues with stability. It crashes - a lot. Even on a brand new laptop with a super powerful graphics processor. Fortunately, pinnacle has an autosave function that saves the day when this happens. Sometimes the program requires a full computer reboot to resume use (it won’t reopen otherwise), but even then the autosave is helpful. Pinnacle 26 promises better stability but crashes still happen. In addition, Pinnacle doesn’t have a good cropping option (you can crop out part of a video, but resizing the image to fill the screen reduces image quality - this should not happen). Have purchased the blu-ray burning plugged in but this doesn’t seem to function in pinnacle (no blu-ray burning option appeared after purchasing the plug-in, very odd). So, in all pinnacle is useful for the basics of video editing but will test your patience with frequent crashing.

I feel sorry for myself for buying this software. The screen capture does not open or work. I do not know how to return this program Waste of money. I am so upset.

Lots of information online to learn the features. Once you do a few videos, it becomes very easy. Produces excellent videos.

This video editor is good. Its stable, and it does everything you most likely will need. But like Photo Shop, it takes time to learn due to the vast number of things it will do for you. My suggestion is to upload some old video and get to work on it. Learn the tools, they can do quite a bit for you. I think this is worth the money for a Windows system.
