Playmags Magnetic Tiles, 30-Piece Magnet Squares Expansion Set, Construction Building Blocks, Starter Set for Kids Ages 3+

I love the fact that I could buy extra square tiles to expand my grandsons collection! The squares seem to be the most popular shape!

I am not sure if they dont care about customers or what...I got nearly all red in the box with a few yellow, orange, and blue. ZERO GREEN. ZERO PURPLE. I ordered a second box to see what was up. This box had mostly blue and purple with all the colors, but only 2 RED!!! THIS ISSUE IS NOT AN OPEN BOX THING! This brand will fit with any of the other brand, but the Playmags are much heavy due to larger, stronger magnets. I can hang 4-5 small square Shapemags or Picasso tiles before they break, while can hang 7-8 small square Playmags. Playmags are truly 2x as strong, but there is a trade off. The Picasso tiles and Shapemags are 28g for a small square, where playmags are a whopping 34g! This means they stack just as high in reality. Also my 2year old cant break apart the Playmags as easily because they magnets are too strong for her when in a large stack. We can build super tall towers in either brand, but the Playmags are more firm, where the Shapemags will topple if pushed out of shape. A large platform base of any brand will fix that completely. These Playmags are neon orange, dark hot pink, and neon yellow (blue, purple, green identical to other brands). I kept the mixed box with purple and orange because these colors are not common in other brands.

My boys fell in loves with these magnetic tiles years ago and it seems that we NEVER have enough for all three of the boys to build their creations. This product is durable, easy to use and makes the best gifts for any occasion. We have used the magnetic tiles to teach shapes, fractions, math with addition and subtraction , and to build amazing structures with this toy. This is a staple in our living room that they never get tired of playing with at all.

These worked out great! I did have to buy 3 boxes to make sure I could get equal numbers per color. 2 boxes were perfect but I returned 1 because it didn’t have 5 of each color. Still waiting on my refund though.

Bought it for my nephew who loves it. Seems to be as sturdy as competing products.

Perfect for my meds

These were a gift for our 20mo grandson. He loved them. Our 10yr old granddaughter liked them too. We like that they are not themed to any commercial super hero or story. We feel such toys better develop a childs imagination.

Items arrived faster than expected. There were 5 of each color (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). The magnets are strong and cling to the magnetic paint wall perfect.
