PlayStation PULSE 3D Wireless Headset – Midnight Black

This headset has really great sound, the only thing I dont like is the quality of the mic. I really wish Sony couldve included a better mic with the headset.

The headphones are great for what they’re designed for. They definitely are everything they are described to be in every description you see. However, the pair that I purchased here seemed to malfunction on me. I went to use them one day for a call of duty sesh with the boys and got nothing but static. I tried turning them off and back on and got nothing. I eventually went back to using my old wired pair from ps4 for about a week when I then decided to give them another try. After sitting around collecting dust for about 7-10 days they mysteriously worked again without a hitch. No static no nothing. They’ve been going strong ever since. The point of this review is just to let you guys know what happened to me lol you do with that info as you please.

The headphones are really good they’re steady and the sound is very clear, so far I haven’t encounter a problem the battery last long and they’re pretty comfortable.

These sound fine. They are not amazing sounding or anything. The main issue is the comfort and build. There are no adjustments on these so basically its one size fits all (which is weird) Im an adult with what I consider a small head. They squeeze you like a vice and its not fun for longer sessions. The mic is decent. The controls on the set are functional but not intuitive. I always fumble to hit the right ones when gaming. The inner ear screen between the speaker and foam has come off both sides of mine even though I probably only use them for 5 hours a month max. Over all I couldnt recommend.

I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing these. Fit seemed to be the biggest complaint so I was a little worried but figured they were made for the PS5 so they were worth a shot. I’m a big guy and have a pretty big head but these fit really well! I was surprised. They’re comfortable...probably more comfortable (in my opinion) than the PS4 Platinum headset. The ear cups seem smaller but they fit my ears perfectly. I’ve just been playing AC Valhalla and the sound does not seem to be as good as the Platinum PS4 headset but that could potentially be the game. Where I’ve noticed it is during some of the side character dialogue. Just seems a little “tinny” and/or flat sometimes when certain characters speak. I’ve really only had them for a few days but I’d happily recommend them.
