PlayVital Thumb Grip Caps for Steam Deck, Silicone Thumbsticks Grips Joystick Caps for Steam Deck - Raised Dots & Studded Design

This was purchased for use with my Steam Deck. As there were no reviews at the time of my purchase, I took the bullet so you can make an educated purchase. First off, the Capacitive Touch Sensors do work with the caps on. Also, with the caps on and no protective case, they will fit in the Valve provided Steam Deck Case without depressing and clicking the sticks. Will update if I ever add a protective case. Design: I purchased primarily for the Diamond Grain but have ended up using the Crack Bomb design. Reason for this being, the Diamond Grain has a more domed form where as the Crack Bomb is more concave and seems to hug the sticks better. Have not had them shift or come off yet, but I havent put that much time into them. Installation of the caps is not as easy as the seller suggests in their pictures, they will not snap on immediately as suggested. Turn them inside out and slowly flip the edges down in a clockwise or counter clockwise motion, if a side gets folded under, just rotate the caps and that should be enough to unfold them. Be weary, too many attempts could stretch out the caps as they are not the most pliable silicone. Additional Note: Although the product description does state this was designed for Steam Deck and is NOT compatible with other controller or console, these are definitely compatible with and fit PERFECTLY on the Nintendo Switch Joycons and I absolutely believe these were designed primarily for Joycons. For $9.99, it was an ok buy. I dont regret it yet.

Very comfortable to use and fit on there really well unlike a lot of others that wiggle around or fall off easy. Have not had these fall off at all and has good grip. I like a little bumps on them to help as well.

Theres not many decorative thumb grips for Steam Deck, so Im so glad I came upon these adorable kitty thumb grips!! I admit they were a bit troublesome to get on, but they fit like a glove when I finally got them to stay on! They also came in two different colors you can choose from! Been getting a great amount of use on my Steam Deck! The normal control sticks are just too slippery for me so these were a must! The price is admittedly a bit high for the quality and the grips have slipped off twice now in dozens of hours of play, but otherwise a great product.

Looks amazing and fits perfectly. Because it fits so perfectly, Its hard to put on. I had to invert the whole thing inside and out and snap it on that way. Its a bit hard to pull off without doing it with that technique. my brother couldnt do it at all, even with the technique. But once its on, its there in that position for good! Wont move at all.

Really happy with these. I was able to put a set on my steam deck and my Xbox controller. Gives me a better thumb control.

Grips felt comfortable and high quality. They were almost too small for an Xbox controller, but I found that after a few tries of turning them inside out and making sure the edges wrapped down around/underneath they fit nicely (albeit rather snug). I’m sure they’d fit wonderfully on a steam deck/switch. 8.5/10 product, cheers!

Covers feel nice and have amazing grip for gaming. The only possible downside to these covers is how they’re packed, mine were mostly intact apart from one with a slight tear that made a solid grip on a joy stick impossible. Overall, would recommend.
