Greater than one weekNo searching to a clamp to hold something, just lay out what you want to do, cut and get that project done.

> 3 dayMainly purchased and used to reinforce aged wood-rail fence at posts. The ends of the rails and thinned down to allow a two rail overlap as they past through the post hole, and over time the ends become weak. The strap cut to a length of 18”, allows me to drive screws into each of the the two rail ends to support them via the strap as they pass thru the post hole.

> 3 dayI needed a heavy gauge hanger to use in a non-plumbing application. On a steel frame for a truck canopy I installed this from eye level, over the top post, and back down to hold galvanized roof panels, mounted side-ways. The material sold at Home Depot was too weak. This worked just fine for what I was doing.

> 3 dayI was surprised when I opened the package, it seems to be coiled up very tightly without any restriction so when you open it, its kinda like a spring that just uncoils itself and there you have it, Wish there wouldve been some kind of maybe a galvanized wire to restrain it together so that it does not dangerously cut your hands while opening it. OR something to just hold it down so that ti does not unravel right after opening it. So I used a power drill and a Flathead screw driver to tighten the coil back up, and placed it back in the shipping box while I try to figure out how to unravel it safely. The metal seems to be heavy duty. I was going to use it on some applications to secure the vents in the attic, secure the water heater, and also use it to secure tall cabinets just in case we get a shaker. If you buy the 10 ft. portions at a hardware store you would pay alot more if you need to use a 100 ft purchase. Because for a 10 ft purchase will cost $2.97 so if you add for a 100 ft. that would be $29.97 and I bought this for $19.53, so thats very good savings. And it appears pretty sturdy, thick metal.

> 3 dayA heavy duty galvanized strap that I have used on several outside projects around the home. Stands up good to the weather. Very handy to have around!
