> 24 hourI should start off saying I’m biased, I started off playing the originals and still have a working gameboy with curly q light that I hope stays working till I have children so they too can enjoy this world. Now for the review at the time of this writing I’ve got about 20+ hours or so in and it’s great! The graphics are quite pleasing and the game is smooth as butter on a hot July day, my only real complaints (and it’s mostly me being picky) are the interaction with Pokémon Go and being able to catch/ transfer some of those Pokémon into your play through. One it takes quite awhile to progress through the game before you can even do it and second it’s kind of a pain in the rear. My other issue is with the scaling when it comes to riding some of the Pokémon, I received an Arcanine from an in game NPC after answering a series of questions (easy enough) but once I pulled out the Pokémon it covers half of the darn screen! Now I had not connected my switch to a television when dealing with this so it may scale appropriately on a TV or monitor but on the handheld it’s simply way too much. All in all the game is wonderful and brings back many memories and has created more in the process. I wish the best of luck to all fellow trainers!

> 24 hourThis game will force you into battles that you cant give up or walk away from that you have no hope of winning. If you dare try to quit the game to reset to before the encounter, theres no auto save feature so you lose all progress you didnt manually save. Add to that tons of unskippable cutscenes, dialog boxes that take forever to dismiss, and this game is a giant waste of time. Seriously, I dont want to see an attack animation for the millionth time! The programmers should be ashamed.
