The bag looks very good, though the smell is quite strong (has this acidic smell; need to air out for days).The design prototype is the from saddleback original classic backpack, so there is a seam, and that seam would irritate by rubbing your lower back (not a big deal for me cuz my clothings would protect me even rubbing happens). The leather is real thick and strong (0.4mm thick quality pull up leather), unlined on the side and some of the pockets. Im actually looking for an unlined leather bag, cuz like boots, you can never wear a hole through unlined leather). Straps are nice and sturdy, 2.5cm wide full grain leather stitched onto cotton strap, hardware looks nice and sturdy (they are not brass though). And Im able to put my water bottle into the side pocket.

I wish it was a little bigger or had additional compartments

What a gorgeous bag!!!. Im doing everything in my power to keep my husband from stealing it from me. I bought this item not really looking for it specifically. I was looking for a more flexible/loose leather backpack to travel with on an airplane and around the city and hoping to use it for school later this fall. So, I needed something with versatility to carry my Macbook Pro and a few books along with the option of traveling. Well..... I bought this beauty because I couldnt resist the quality and classy look of a messenger bag with the option of being a backpack all in one. Also, love the side & back pockets for my iPhone/iPad. Im using it now for work with my laptop and plan to use it for school later where I plan to pursue a doctorate degree (an early gift to self). I get several compliments from men and women. My husband even asked me to send him the link. LOL

Love the look of the bag. Leather is soft, supple, and durable. Brought bag for myself, however the boyfriend loved it so much he took it and we ordered a second one we are wanting on to arrive. It holds a 17 inch laptop, Galaxy tablet, external hard drive, 3 notebooks, a mouse, and assortment of chargers, pencil case, and various other items with room for more still. Bag does stand upright on its own and straps are removable. Quality is worth way more then the asking price.

I like how sturdy it looks. My favorite feature is the hook straps. You dont see a lot of that style around. Mine doesnt smell of strong leather unlike some other reviews I read. It feels heavy when Im holding it in my hand but feels fine as a backpack, not too bad. Im still trying to break it in because the shoulder straps are quite hard. This is meant for men so the length of the straps are a bit long for me.

Love the bag and get a lot of compliments! There are several ways to set up the bag to carry it and the bags come with 2 shoulder straps to clip on as you like. It can be set up a backpack or a crossbody bag. The main pocket is big enough for a laptop and files however could use a divider and smaller pockets to hold other items. The front pocket is large can fit a smaller bag to hold smaller items like chargers and head phones. The side pockets are great and have a strap with a clasp to secure the pocket. It is big enough for a large water bottle or sunglass case. Beware the straps can come unbuckled if left opened. I experienced this on my first use and would suggest unbuckling the strap if you do not use the clasp to secure the pocket. Overall, I am very excited about using this bag on future business trips. It’s exactly what I was looking for when I was replacing my computer backpack!

Great quality! The bag is large. My only complaint is the weight of the bag. it looks great and I have received many compliments. I would purchase this bag a hundred times over!

This is by far the best leather bag I’ve had EVER! Very heavy, the buckles are a nice brass look all very pleasing to the eye & enough compartments for me to forget where I put stuff. Love, love, love, love it!!!

Wonderful bag! It is heavy but in a good way. It is crazy horse, full grain leather. You can tell the quality of the bag by the feel and look of it. The leather is thick and supple. It has the right amount of oils that makes it supple without being oily. The look of the bag really stands out. Another reviewer posted pictures and mine looked identical. A good size bag to put my laptop and some other belongings like clothes for a a couple of days. I highly recommend this bag.
