Polaroid i-zone Webster Mini Photographic Scanner

> 24 hourI bought this on Webster today, and I just dont like it. The rubber base youre supposed to take off is a little too snug for quick removal. the Delete button on the unit is next to impossible to move. The pictures are too dark compared to what they originally were. It should have been USB, because too many things use the serial port, and USB wouldve been much faster, and USB hubs are easy to get.. The image quality is poor. The pictures load too slowly (1 picture takes 10 seconds, and it can hold 20). Ive had trouble where pictures on the Webster get corrupted somehow, so theyre unloadable, but the thumbnail view shows up (???). The only good I see in this product is what its meant for. Not worth the money, in my opinion. If you just want something to scan i-zone pics or other unneccesarily small objects, go for it. Otherwise, dont waste your time

> 24 hourI wasnt expecting much out of this, but I have to say that I was pretty impressed. Of course this is made for people who have an i-zone camera! You could even scan little parts of other full sized pictures that you might have. I had a fun time uploading the pictures to the web to share with family and friends. Im glad I put this item on my wishlist!

> 24 hourI mean the price I payed for mine, $10, where is $75 coming from? Do not buy it for that price!!! Dont get me wrong, I love my little scanner, I do not own the I-zone camera, I had lots of pictures that you could barely make out what was in them, now I scan them and Voila, LOL you can see everthing, I have my own website and every picture on there is from the webster. I would more likely recommend this scanner as a gift for a child, but for someone who does not have a scanner the webster is great too. NOT FOR $75 THOUGH, BUY A REAL SCANNER FOR THAT PRICE.

> 24 hourI REALLY DID LOVE MY WEBSTER WHILE IT WORKED. IT WAS A GREAT WAY FOR ME TO GET A COPY OF PHOTOS THAT I WOULD TAKE AND GIVE AWAY. IT WAS SO QUICK AND EASY. I HAVENT HAD IT VERY LONG BUT NOW I GUESS A LIGHT BURNT OUT. HALF OF THE PHOTOS I SCANNED WERE FINE BUT THE LAST HALF CAME OUT EXTREMELY DARK. MORE THAN USUAL. I DONT KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO CHANGE THE LIGHTS BUT IT DOESNT LOOK EASY. THIS REALLY IS A NEAT DEVICE TO USE WITH YOUR IZONE CAMERA. THE PROGRAM IS EASY TO INSTALL ON YOUR COMPUTER AND THEN YOU PLUG THE SCANNER IN. IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND SMALL SO YOU CAN TAKE THE SCANNER ANYWHERE WITH YOU AND YOUR IZONE. YOU MUST USE BATTERIES AND BE SURE TO BRING SPARE SINCE IT [takes] THE LIFE OUT OF THEM. BUT DONT CHANGE THE BATTERIES WHILE YOU HAVE PHOTOS SAVED ON IT OR THEY WILL BE LOST. IT HOLDS 20 PHOTOS SO YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THEM ONTO YOUR COMPUTER TO PUT MORE. I FOUND THE PROGRAM VERY EASY TO USE AND FUN. YOU CAN DOCREATIVE THINGS TO THE PHOTOS ONCE THEY ARE ON THE COMPUTER AND INTO THE PROGRAM.

> 24 hour(...) However, for what I paid and what it does, you cant beat it. You really *dont* need an i-zone camera to have fun with this. I actually find myself throwing it in my coat pocket as I head out for lunch downtown to document the trip, and come back with some great textures, fonts, eyeballs, artsy-fartsy blurred out photos, etc. The photos tend to come out a little on the dark side, but a little photoshop help cleans them right up. Just plain fun. The only real downer is no mac support, but ill live with that for now. I want to take one apart and play with the focus range, maybe build a lens for it...

> 24 hourwoah, 1999 called.. and wants it out dated scanning tool back. - I dont even know where I have this damned thing. I know I dont have any of the cameras anymore. WHEN I did have the cameras, and this little doo-hicky, it worked like a charm though. I think I was under the guise of.. OOH LOOKY! SMALL AND CUTE!. Do they even still make these??
