Polident 3-Minute Antibacterial Denture Cleanser - Mint, 3 Minute Whitening, 120 Count

I ordered several of these boxes for my parent who wears dentures but also use these tablets to clean out my coffee maker. Surprise, surprise you can have multiple use for this product. Coffee maker cleaning instructions. 1. Run just water through the coffee maker 2. When the pot fills up; dump one of these tablets into the water well and pour the hot water from the pot and run the system 3. Put one tablet into the the pot which will clean the pot when the hot water enters the pot. 4. I usually run this water 2 times, then dump. 5. Pour fresh water to clear both the water well and pot. 6. The pot and water well should be cleaner then it was when you started. :)

I decided to experiment to see if Polident would remove a stain on a porcelain surface. It worked better than anything else. The stain is a lot fainter and I plan to try again to see if it will disappear after multiple attempts. Not quite what Polident had in mind, but needs must...

My review concerns the delivery of this item, not the product itself. I use this product daily and in the past, ordered the two box set and had no problems. Since that is no longer available, I ordered one box this time. It came in an envelope mailer. The box containing these sheets of tablets is not a sturdy box. Its not designed to stand pressure so as you can imagine, the box itself was mangled. The tablets were fine but there was no fixing the box so it would hold them. This may be a small thing but to send this item in an envelope mailer was poor judgment, in my opinion. I ordered this item from Amazon for convenience but will be buying locally in the future.

Dental assistant recommended these tablets for cleaning night guard, and they do work better than just rinsing or brushing the guard. I also read that they work to remove coffee and tea stains from ceramic mugs, and they do, but it may take longer and/or a second application to remove all traces of the stains.
