I use this to clean my mouth guard and it works well. I let my mouth guard soak usually for a few hours (mainly because I forget to take it out) but any odor is gone and it feels clean when I put it back in. I like these large boxes so I only have to buy them a few times a year and always have some on hand.

I recently got some invisalign retainers to correct my teeth and my ortho told me to use this product to clean. I didnt realize how much Id have to clean this retainers but glad I have these. Great item! Comes in 3 boxes of 40 tablets so 4 months worth of cleaning if used daily = $6 a month. I have no way to verify that bacteria is killed, so you have to trust it. It is easy to use, 3-5 minute soak. If youre extra, let it soak longer. I keep a box in each of the bathrooms so I have it no matter where I am so it is more convenient for me this way. I use these for all dental products, toothbrush heads, waterpik tips, toothbrush caps/covers, night guards......I even soaked my dogs eye combs in this. easy.
