I looked at several of the options for butyl rope before I made this purchase. Some of the other brands had reviews with pictures of product that had been damaged due to poor packaging. This one is in a foam shell, so the rope was in perfect condition when it arrived. It seems to be consistent diameter and has the right degree of tack for the car door sealing that Im doing. Note that its really almost too think for this job, but it can be rolled down to a smaller diameter.

I wanted to say that this product worked as I expect. seal good and easy to work with it.

It works as advertised

Well packaged, good pricing, easy to apply. I used it to re-seal a VW factory airbox to prevent water from entering the blower. The diameter was perfect for the application.

This product worked great for redoing my truck vapor/ sound barriers in the door with Second skins mass loaded vinyl. Had enough material to do 4 door with excellent adhesion.

Used most of a roll to create two bead lines around a septic tank riser base to seal against the concrete tank. Worked well for this purpose.

Great item. Gets the job done.

I used it as joint pad for a heavy granite table top on porcelain base. It is very soft and very sticky and provide a perfect cushion for a heavy granite top on porcelain base.
