I like the uniqueness of the Goddess Statue. I modified my Goddess statue for my Echo Dot, Generation 4 which has the glowing-ring on the BOTTOM. (see photo). Im not quite finished with the modification. I plan to chisel a tad more of the opening. My friends say they liked it; or are being kind to my feelings. Im 77. (maybe Ill save up for the lighter colored, Generation 4, to see if UT would look better than the black. I enjoy the convenience, selections and speedy delivery which is the trademark of AMAZON!

I fit it to my Echo Spot and it looks nice

First, I am not a fan of the “cannonball” look of the echo dot 4th generation. I already owned the 3rd generation “hockey puck” echo dot and didn’t mind the low profile, but when I came across a great holiday deal on the small ball echo- I couldn’t pass it up. But I needed something to hide it. All I could find was cute little stands that didn’t really fit my aesthetic, but then I came across this sculptural stand for the dot and decided to give it a shot. I love it! It’s a little bigger than I expected, but it gives it more of a statement piece feel which I like. I have read the reviews complaining of the dot being muffled, but I don’t really hear a difference. The 3rd generation “hockey puck” dot sits snugly in the top, and sits quite flush with the top of the sculpture. A slight diminished sound for that dot, but upping the volume a touch cures the issue. The small 4th generation “cannonball” also sits smoothly in the top, with no play on the sides. The sound there has no issue since it emits from the area that sits above the top of the sculpture. I can’t see the light at the base light up to indicate that it has recognized the wake word, as it sits down into the top of the sculpture. However, that’s not really an issue since I never have problems with my echo receiving commands. I am very pleased with my purchase and plan to buy another.

I gave it 4 stars because when I play music it sounds muffled! It’s closed in around the speakers..

This is amazing. Was a bit nervous. But wow! This is beautiful. My friends call her the Nature Chick.
