I must admit that I used it to improve my 3DS controls- it was worth it-!

At first was nervous it wasnt going to work but perfect fit and works great.

It goes without saying why youre here. Yes, you can use this as a 3ds mod. You should however try and get some tools and make the grip from a rectangle to a more square shape like the original c-stick, so compare them. Having 6 is overkill but you probably do need 2 or 3 incase you mess up so its fine.

I am not using these for a PSP replacement but actually to fix the C stick on my 3DS. Every unit Ive used had the same issue, very unresponsive especially in certain directions. To my surprise the piece underneath the rubber nub does not move at all, but once you put the new cap on it works great. I just ripped off the old one, if you have the triwing screwdriver to remove the back its easy to take it out without damage, though once you put this on youll never go back anyway. There is no worries about there not being enough room for the larger pad since it is stationary and doesnt slide around like the actual PSP analog. Im mainly using it to make Metal Gear 3DS more playable and this definitely did the job. Snaps right on with no trouble, feels good and suggest it for all new 3DS owners.

Fit perfectly, have a decent grip but not one that hurts the thumb. Not much else to say except its exactly what you need.

Bought these to mod my n3DS C-stick. Works great! The fit is perfect and feels way better. I personally think theyre a better fit than the Insten caps.
