I bought this Ovolta Air Cooler on Amazon as a temporary backup to my aging window air conditioner should it fail unexpectantly. Summers can be difficult for seniors such as myself, and I didnt want to risk suffering through a stifling hot day should my old air conditioner break down. I tried this air cooler out and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it functions. Its quiet and cools my small home office space quite well. Just add some water and set your desired fan level. Thats it! Im very pleased with the capabilities of this air cooler.

I purchased this portable air conditioner to be used in my baby’s nursery. It works great!! Cools down the room just at the right temperature. It’s not freezing but it’s also not hot and that’s what I wanted. I can take it anywhere in the house. I’ve used it in my kitchen to cook it down. A few nights my older son has used it in his room and he said it cooled down his room really fast. If you don’t wanna go and buy a big air conditioner and put it In the window I would get one of these!!!

This AC is great for extra AC in hot rooms. Was easy to set up and cooled my room in short time. Easy to fill and refill and settings are simple to understand. Recommend this if you need extra cooling during the summer.

He has a room that does not have good circulation and he was not sleeping well. We did our due diligence and looked for an affordable solution for him. My son has a room that does not cool well and was in need of help as he sleeps during the day. There are so many choices out there and this was one that had good ratings. It works great in a small room and keeps it consistently cooler. The cooler directions were easy to follow and it was easy to set up and is easy to clean and maintain for use. We live in Arizona and we need all the help we can get.

I am in a small room that tends to get rather warm. I decided to purchase this for a little relief. The portable conditioner does do what it says. You do have to be aware of a few things. This is not an air conditioner with a compressor so it will not be like that. If your humidity is too high, it wont work as well so keep that in mind. I load mine up with ice cubes and a little cold water. The unit blows out cold air with this set up. 3 levels of fan speed. It isnt very loud but know that it is a fan and the higher the speed, it will get louder. I do use the humidifier part of it. It does not have a large amount of moisture nor is there any on the surfaces of the room - which is great as I have electronics in this room. Easy to fill and pour out any moisture in the bottom. The remote control makes it easy to adjust as needed. It may not cool the whole room if it is too hot but if I have it facing me, it will keep me cooler. We get very dry here in the winter and I am looking forward to use it as a humidifier then.

My air conditioner went out. I bought one of these to cool off my bedroom. I was absolutely impressed. I was so impressed that I bought another one. I was able to sleep so well at night because this portable air conditioner served me very well. Although my air conditioner is fixed, I will used them on the not so hot days.

A small, convenient and portable cooling unit. One tray of ice and some nice cold water will leave you feeling cool for the summer. This unit will cool you off if it’s pointing directly at you, or contained in a small bedroom or area. Also, the lights on the unit and overall design make it stylish, not just useful. Highly recommend this product for the price. When AC isn’t an option, this unit will help you out in a pinch. I love it. I have it pointed right at my bed. Sometimes it even makes me too chilly. Which is obviously a plus and sign that it is working.

This works very well to keep you cool if it’s a small area. I use it to help me sleep on warm nights. Remote control and timer are key! Great value, but don’t expect it to be an air conditioner.
