> 3 dayFirstly, youre not going to heat up 200 sq ft in seconds per the features pictured here but this little thing puts out some heat. It has two settings levels for heat (I and II) which seems pretty straight forward. However, instead of lowering the voltage on the entire heating unit, it seems to just turn off half of it. Unfortunately, this means you get high heat from one side and cold air from the other side because a single fan services the entire heating element at the same time. If you are heating a room, probably fine. If you have it under your desk near your feet its a bit sub-optimal on the level I setting. The safety screen on the front gets pretty hot vs. others Ive seen with a plastic shroud so it might not be great if you have curious kids and/or pets. Settings knobs are basic, but functional which is probably what you want for a heater in this price range - fewer things to break/stop working vs. a digital offering. It has a thermostat so it will kick on and off as necessary.

> 3 dayThis small but effective heater does a good job in my office. It heats right up and keeps me very warm on cold and chilly nights. Does a great job!

> 3 dayI have had this heater for two years. Here is my review. As a heater, this works. It works well, even. This little thing can get a cold bedroom real toasty in about an hour. As a heater with a thermostat, this fails miserably. The goal of a thermostat is to maintain the temperature of a room, but it doesnt do that reliably. The problem is that the thermostat doesnt click off when its supposed to. Im guessing that its just a bimetallic strip in there. So when it starts to get uncomfortably hot, I have to give the top of the unit a little thump, which corrects the thermostat and shuts it off. Youd think the solution would be to just turn the thermostat down, but unfortunately that hasnt worked in my experience. I cant say how many nights Ive tried setting the thermostat low, only to wake up a few hours later soaked with sweat because the thermostat didnt click off. You really, really do need to babysit it. Its a pain. I paid $35, which Id say was worth it. Its on the low end, so you cant expect perfection. If you can spend more though, do yourself a favor and find a unit with a digital thermostat. Thanks for reading :-)
