> 3 dayThis is just as good as the smallest Geniani (I purchased both brands to compare). This one, just like the other brand, REQUIRES a cotton bar filter to be replaced periodically depending on use. This Snow Mountain Humidifier does NOT come with an extra cotton bar filter. It only comes with the one ready to use. The Geniani one came with TWO filters.

Greater than one weekI needed a small humidifier to travel with. This works perfect and is small enough to fit in my carry on bag. Im happy with my purchase.

11-06-2025This thing worked great for the first 2 months I had it. I actually bought it to clear up my cats sneezing during the winter months. And it really did its job well. I had to change the filter recently though and must have not noticed the tiny spring mechanism that makes the thing work and now its useless and cant find a replacement. Oh well. Good product still for the price.

> 3 dayThis item is smaller then I thought it would be, it blow cool air you and you have to have it near you in order to reep the benefits of it. I but I kept it and put it on my desk while I work it is good for that

> 3 dayIt’s really cute ! Easy to use and clean. It’s been great for the stuffy Airbnb I’ve been staying in. Plenty of mist without the table getting all gross.

> 3 dayI have had this for around a month and it has been great. However, out of the blue it just stopped working. When I plug it in only a white light comes on and nothing else can be done. This once great humidifier is now a worthless nightlight. When it did work I had no complaints. The noise of the mist was low, mist spray lasted all night and despite other reviews saying the red light is annoying I never had a problem with it. Once I started to have problems I reached out and amazon was next to no help on troubleshooting so I just ate the cost. After seeing reviews and questions with customers having the same problem I would not recommend this item unless you need it for just a few nights. Chances are itll break on you if you use it longer than that.

> 3 dayIve had this for a year. I use it 5 days a week for 4 months out of the year, when its cold outside and the furnace is running all the time. My sinuses get dried out and this helps a lot. I keep it next to me on my desk. Please note that if you are using this for the first time or after it has dried out, it will take a bit for the wick inside to absorb the water and start. You might think its broke, but just give it time, like almost an hour. I clean the tank and let it dry over the weekend. On Monday, it may take up to an hour after I fill it, before it starts working. I let it sit for 30 minutes, then I press the power button once and wait. Within an hour after filling, it starts. I have only used distilled water in this as tap water will leave a mineral dust over my desk.

Greater than one weekI loved this little desktop humidifier so much, and used it daily. I loved it so much that I bought another one a month or so later. Its so cute, it puts out a nice amount of vapor, stayed on for at least 12 hours on one fill of the little tank, and according to my hygrometer, it did a decent job of increasing the humidity in the area around it. However, now, not even two months into having the first one, it has stopped working. I have diligently maintained it since I bought it - cleaning it well (including using vinegar once a week to clean out any mineral deposits), allowing everything to dry out from time to time, never letting water just sit in it (it was either running or sitting open and empty) and changing the filter at the first sign that it was getting dirty (when the tip was starting to turn brown-ish). So, I am very sad that all of a sudden it has completely stopped working. One day it worked just fine, the next day I filled it up, plugged it in and nothing. I tried again. I cleaned it well. I changed the filter, and yes, I am mindful of the spring that needs to be in the bottom of the filter cylinder. Nothing. I know this is an inexpensive little unit, but I expected it to last longer than just short of two months. Kind of a bummer as I was considering buying a third - I use them with my houseplants and on my desk while I work - but Im going to purchase another brand. Hoping the second one I bought hangs in there a little longer.
