> 3 dayWhen going to tabletop gaming conventions, its a real challenge to work with players who have a mix of digital and paper resources. That is, its fine if I can look up my character sheet on a tablet, but not as good if the other players cant. And it gets weird when Im trying to share something easily, like pointing to my hit points or my armor class. I prefer paper for this sort of thing, not the least of which being that it feels like youre hiding your current hit points on a digital device from everyone else at the table. The alternative is to print stuff out. But printing character sheets is equally challenging. Conventions rarely have printers and if they do, they quickly run out of paper or ink. Hotels have business centers but they often charge for the privilege. And thats not usually helpful anyway because printing character sheets might have to happen on the fly. Finally, this is a solution. That said, there are compromises. This is a thermal printer that requires unique paper. Its not meant for printing a lot of pages, or graphics, or anything fancy. Its for text, which works just fine for character sheets, less so for handouts. Also, although its listed as Bluetooth, thats for mobile only (and while you could print sheets from a mobile device, you probably dont want to). Your laptop will need to use a data cable, so that means bundling the printer, data cable, and paper with you when you travel. For players, this will work well when you cant get a print out anywhere else. For DMs, its probably less useful but still more valuable than printing nothing at all.

> 3 dayI love this printer so much. Everything is perfect. The only thing that I dont like is that it uses a special type of paper that I havent found yet and I havent used this product ever since using all of the free paper that it already comes with.

> 3 dayThis is a great option for when you absolutely must be able to print when you are away from your home or office. It prints on thermal paper only, so you need to make sure and buy some of that, but once you have the paper then all you need to do is plug it in, connect to it wirelessly using you phone, tablet, or laptop computer and the rest works just like any other printer. Print quality is good. It is a solution for printing anywhere that works pretty well. 5 stars.

> 3 daySeveral reason why I am going to enjoy this portable printer. #1 I have always wanted one. I got me one before and I lost the manual on how to operate it. It would’ve been simple enough but I was young and had ZERO knowledge on anything high tech! So I got me this and omg!!! I’m going to find any and every excuse to use it it’s going to make my entire house go mad with envy!!! They took great care in the packaging of this printer which I’m grateful for and it came with some neat extras: paper- a few sheets. A usb plug in and one other important tool. The only thing I’m worried about is the ink. What happens when it runs out of ink?….I’m sure I can find out! Go get yours today, don’t delay!

> 3 dayCompact, long battery life, versatile, the only drawback is the cost per print, but as a trade for portability Im not going to complain. When I need to print a lot Ill do it from home. When I need a single page on site such as a label for something or an invoice / diagram / instructions for a bespoke device its perfect.

> 3 dayIn my job, I sometimes have to print out documents out in the field from a phone app because the project doesnt make it clear that I needed to print things before leaving the house. Its often only a few pages, but theyre critical to my being able to complete a project sometimes. Until now, my only option if I was caught without the necessary print-outs was to pause the job and come back later. This was not ideal. I considered keeping a small inkjet in my vehicle, but that was problematic. Ink dries out, it would require power and standard paper, and even the smallest inkjet is bulky these days. They also wont work for wireless printing without a network to connect to, and most dont play nice with direct printing from iOS via cable or WiFi Direct. Its a non-starter. However, this little thermal printer changes all that! Now I can print out documents in the field without having to fuss with a full-size printer, or printer ink, or a ream of paper, and I wont need a power outlet or WiFi network, either! Setup was easy. Heck, Id say almost non-existent! You download the app, power on the printer, and connect via Bluetooth through the app. It takes seconds. Since the printer operates on a rechargeable battery, youre all set without needing to plug anything in. Instead of needing to carry around a stack of paper, you can get thermal paper in rolls, so you have a much more compact traveling print setup. One roll is typically 50 sheets of 8.5x11 paper. Note that you can get thermal paper in sheets (and even in fanfold, if thats your thing) but I found the rolls to be easier to deal with, especially with multiple pages because you dont need to keep feeding paper into the printer. In the app, you can select any documents on your phone or tablet easily. Printing is very fast, and while the quality isnt what Id call photographic, its good enough for documents and text, and handles black & white pictures well enough. The printer comes with a nice carrying pouch, a few sheets of paper to try it out, paper manuals, a charging cord (USB-C), and a USB flash drive with the PC drivers on it. Its small enough to easily fit in a backpack, briefcase, or even a big purse. Heck, if you wear big baggy cargo pants, Im sure you could jam it into a pocket (though I wouldnt advise it). Now, this tech does come with a few downsides. The biggest issue is that you must use thermal paper with it. Normal copy paper or typing paper wont work, and thermal paper isnt terribly easy to find. You cant just walk into your local big box store and get it. They sell some here on Amazon, though. It comes in two main varieties: Quick-Drying and Long-Lasting. The Quick-Drying is ideal for writing on it, like if you need to have someone sign a form, but the printout only lasts around 5 years before fading. The Long-Lasting variety will last 10 years, but you really cant write on it with a pen so its not good for fillable forms or anything youll need to sign. No matter which type you choose, thermal printouts are not ideal for long-term use. Dont print your Marriage Certificate or Will on it, is what Im saying. Its really only good for things you wont need for long, but thats fine for my needs. The other issue is that the paper is a little pricey. On average, 100 sheets worth of paper is around twelve to twenty dollars. Compare that to regular copy paper which goes for around six bucks per 500 sheets and youll feel a bit of a sting. However, keep in mind youre not paying for ink or toner, ever, and its not so bad. Bottom line: As an on-the-go document printing solution, this is about as good as it gets. It has its caveats, but theyre common to this technology and not flaws of the device itself. In the end, Id rather have a limited way to print when I need to and Im away from home, than to not have one. Five stars.

> 3 dayI bought this with a hard case because at times I have to print bill of lading, permits, or various whatever note on my truck. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The app loves to hijack things like excel spread sheets and so I have to go into quick look to view them. Rather annoying. 2. It’s really hard to get the paper in straight without something like a table or something larger and flat (like 14 inch by 14 in hes) The printer works great though. It does exactly as it promises, feels well made and sturdy. Simple to setup and paid. It came with a silver bag but because things tend to fall down in the truck I bought a hard case as I said before. I rarely have to charge it which is a huge plus
