> 24 hourDont believe the positive reviews. This product was impossible to set up, the manual does not correspond to menu options, the built in system crashes, it was impossible to connect to my android phone or os computer wireless lying. I wasted 2 hours trying to set it up. I would give it zero stars if I could.

> 24 hourThis projector is okay. Kinda cheaply made and feels like it could be more compact but Aw well. I was going to return it but waited too late. It’s going to ask you for all kinds of private information for login which requires your consent…

> 24 hourI am writing this review for my Wife, since I am the techie in the family. Over the pandemic we got into projectors to enhance our movie nights. The first projector we got was great. I started by connecting the projector to my laptop via HDMI and watch downloaded movies from whichever streaming service had the movies we wanted to watch. Then I moved over to using a Google Chromecast because I got tired of the wires. As long as I had WiFi, we were good! I loved it so much I tried upgrading our projector to one that had WiFi built-in. But I quickly found out it was a waste of time because I couldnt cast to the WiFi projector. So I went back to using a Chromecast instead of using the built-in Wifi. That brings us to this little projector. First off, my wife loves the form factor. Its small and not heavy at all. I love that I can mount it on a tripod. Because its using Android OS, they are able to put apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and HBO Max on it. I wasnt able to get Hulu. And it also has YouTube, ESPN, and a bunch of News Streaming apps, though for my family and I, we plan to only watch movies on this. So no more having to use a Chromecast or connect to a laptop. I also love that I am able to adjust the keystone electronically, which makes is super easy. On our older projectors, that was a manual adjustment and was prone to being bumped into and shifted. I have only 2 minor gripes: 1. I was excited to be able to download streaming apps via the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, the UI is not very user-friendly. Its pretty much impossible to navigate the Google Play Store and download an app. Luckily, the UI of the projector allows you to peruse through video apps outside of the Google Play Store, and then select the ones you want to download. Thats how I found the apps I mentioned above. 2. I wish the makers of the projector had just pre-loaded all of the popular streaming apps. Even with my techie background, it took me some time to figure out there was another way to install apps other than the Google App Store. Once I figured it out, it was not problem. But I wonder if most consumers would be able to figure that out. For me and my family, this little projector has been a great addition to our media playing collection. Now that I have all of the Streaming Apps that we want loaded, the ease of use of this little projector is top notch. The resolution is on 720p and not 1080p, but honestly the picture quality is fine. The kids get a kick out of the movie theater experience at home. This is definitely something I would recommend to any family. Just make sure you have someone technically savvy around to figure a few things out. But once youve got it setup the way you want, youll have hours upon hours of fun having movie nights with friends and family! UPDATE 11/28/2022: I reached out to the manufacturer to let them know about the 2 gripes that I mentioned above. To my surprise, they responded and offered to rectify the situation. For the navigation issue, they mentioned that using a mouse is a good work around rather than using the remote. And they offered to send me a free wireless mouse to use for the projector. I connected a mouse to the projector and did indeed had a much better experience. I went ahead and accepted their offer for a wireless mouse. As for my gripe about having to download apps and wishing they were preloaded, they explained that Google only allows the manufacturer to pre-load 10 apps. But they took my suggestions to heart and will prioritize streaming videos over the news and sports apps on future builds. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick to respond the manufacturer was, and they genuinely had an interest in resolving the issues that I spelled out. Because of this, Ive gone ahead and changed my 4-Star rating to a 5-Star. My family and I really do love this projector, and for the price, there really isnt anything else that we could ask for!

> 24 hourThe Sianyer X8 TV projector is fine for what it is. The Android Tv capabilities makes this projector great for on the go! No additional streaming devices hookups needed to use. Easy set up and wifi connection and your off. Download your favorite apps sign in and start watching. Blue tooth capability so you can connect a speaker but internal speakers on this unit are fine for what they are. Comes with a small stand for table and power cord. Had to navigate around a little for settings up but not too difficult. User manual is small and not easy to read but was helpful. Lamp seems a little dim. Seems it could be brighter. All and all would rate this pretty good! Would be great for the family on movie night! Good job Sainyer!
