Ill keep this very short. This product works and is reasonably priced. If youre going camping and have a portable toilet it is a necessity.

I recently acquired a small portable toilet for an upcoming trip and discovered that there is a fabulous biodegradable powder that turns urine into a gel that you can actually pick up – not that you’ll want to! Just throw the bag away when it is full if there is a receptacle or empty the bag and cover the gel with dirt and it will degrade quickly. I haven’t used it yet, but I did watch the video demonstrations and I am convinced this will work perfectly. Rather than add powder to the bag with urine, I figure I’ll put powder in the bag first and keep adding as needed. One tube is supposed to turn up to a gallon of liquid into a gel. Despite its name, its main purpose is to turn urine into a gel, but it’ll also work to dehydrate poo and mask the odor. The packets come in a nice reusable zippered bag. I’m happy I discovered this because I had been planning to purchase kitty litter!

This stuff was awesome. I think enough people have posted photos of the packages. And Im not posting pics of it being used in the portable toilet, so! It transforms liquids into a lemony jelly substance. We had one toilet for #1 and one for #2. These packages are easy to open and pour, work quickly and very well. Highly recommend for people enjoying the outdoors.

Works great even for the shop bucket (ewwwww right, not any more). Nasty jazz and smell are POOF! gone into pretty smell better jellies (dont eat). And I really love that I have the kids believing the smurfs have been around by sprinkling little piles when it rains (because smurfs only come out in the cover of rain).

I tried another gelling agent before I tried Neptten. The other brand only gels half as much liquid as this one treats, and Neptten works a lot faster -- 1 minute vs. 5 minutes for the other brand. I sprinkled it over half a gallon of water. The first thing I noticed is that this one actually has a scent (though not so strong to be offensive). To me, that says this will treat bodily wastes better than the other brand. This one also gels up much more solid than the other brand, which means there will be less risk of leakage from the bag after I throw it away. Ill be keeping this in my bug out bag, right next to my portable potty.

These seemed to work pretty well in the outdoors while primitive camping. The lime smell is somewhat pleasant, but it kind of reminded me of Pine-Sol for some reason. They did well gelling up as they should and neutralizing odors. Easy to clean up and bio-degradable.

This poo powder works like it says it would! Liquid waste was solidified quickly in a timely manner into a gel-like substance. The odor of the waste was able to be masked by the scent of the absorbing gel. Personally, I find this product to be quite useful for when I’m outdoors on a camping or hiking trip. My friend told me they use poo powder at the beaches when they don’t have access to a restroom or in emergency situations when restrooms arent accessible, which convinced me to order some for myself!
