> 3 dayI am a first time mom and thought this cleaver product was going to help me potty train my child. Hind sight- it wasnt necessary and seemed to create more confusion for my son actually. It is a well made product though and washable to boot. I gave it 3 stars for sturdiness though cause I felt it may break with my 29 lbs son sitting on it at his Pediatrics appointment when we first bought it. It may become still of some use later in potty training- but, I havent used it yet consistently in my routine and my son seems to be almost potty trained fine in over a year of not using it. He is going on 3 and doesnt even wet the bed at night at this point.

Greater than one weekI spent way too much time looking at travel potties. Hopefully, this review helps someone spend less time than I did. At home, we use the montikids potty. Its the perfect height for my son and doesnt cause him sensory issues. Unfortunately, its a bit too bulky to use as a travel potty and were on the go a fair amount of the time. I looked at a ton of foldable travel potties before settling on the Potette Plus Portable Potty. The main thing it has going for it is the collapsable, reusable liner. I knew that my son would have a hard time with sitting on a plastic bag needed to cover most other travel potties. The sound of the plastic and the feel of it against his skin would cause him to refuse to use the potty. Also, the noise of pee hitting the plastic would be a problem. The reusable liner takes away all of those issues. The potty itself is super easy to use. The legs fold down easily and the liner pops right in. Once your kid does their business, its simple to dump into a toilet and clean up. There is a little learning curve to refolding the liner, but not too bad. The main thing to be concerned about is the overall size of the potty. My son is 34 tall. He ends up with his knees almost to his chest when he sits down on it. On one hand, a great position for encouraging poop. On the other hand, he needs help getting up off the potty every time. The potty can be used on a regular toilet with the foldable legs at 180 degrees, but then were looking at total leg dangling. Its something to be aware of though.

> 3 dayThis potty works well for traveling but it is tiny (the legs and the thin seat, the actual bowl opening is the same as other seats- I checked). It looks like my son is sitting on the ground when he uses it, so it is a little awkward and puts him in a position for potentially popping up and peeing over/ on the potty seat. BUT, he will use it and there are ways to avoid an accident. As long as you take the extra moment to make sure the legs are locked in place, I havent had an issue with it collapsing. Love that the it has a silicone bowl that also folds up nicely for transport. The seat itself seems on the thinner side and looks less comfy than others, but when were out & about potty breaks are usually more business than leisure, so its doable. Ive only used it as a seat cover once, instead of a stand alone potty, and it was fine. I didnt trust it not to move around if he did, but it got the job done. All in all, this seat has allowed us to confidently go adventuring (or just run errands) again and it was worth the purchase.

> 3 dayThis thing is awesome. Potty on its own in the trunk, or converts to big toilet insert seat. We use this everywhere and it helps them feel less intimidated by big potties. Hooray!

> 3 dayThis is one of the best baby/kid purchases we have ever made....and that is saying a lot!! This is versatile, incredibly well designed and so easy to use. It has been so helpful during potty training. We live far from the city/destinations, so we are away from the house for long periods of time. My 2 year old daughter will not pee in every potty (yet, during potty training), but we never had an issue with this one. It is tiny and folds up, and fits in the diaper bag, purse, under the stroller, anywhere. It comes with a convenient carry/storage bag (just heavy plastic with drawstrings, but works). We just open it up in the back of my SUV and she goes. Also, way easy to clean. I wish I was smart enough to have designed this. Also: Bonus: I didnt realize this when I purchased it, but the legs also fold outward to make a little potty seat to place on top of a regular potty seat (like for when youre out and about, or for when your kiddo has outgrown sitting on the low/freestanding potette). You need this!

> 3 dayA bit low to the ground but doesnt bother my toddler at all - in fact i think this is what finally broke the ice with the potty pooping (had been peeing in the bigger potty but asking for a pull up for poops). I cant say enough good things about this. Great for travel, as an extra in the house, outside, etc. It’s easy to clean and fold up. One of my best purchases! You will not regret adding this to your potty training tools.
