Great for training boys and girls. Splash guard is one of the best.

My son has been poopy potty trained (will poop in toilet and not diaper) since 6 months old. We cloth so as soon as he started eating solids I refused to let him poop in the diaper as cleanup is a bit of a hassle. We have had three toilets in that time. One had steps but the cushion was made of foam on cardboard. This easily ripped and when water, urine, soap, you name it got under the plastic .. it was disgusting. The second was another with steps and did not have a cushion at all just plastic with adjustable heights. I thought this would be more hygienic to clean, but didn’t think of comfort. My son hated this one as the hole was too small (he’s a chunky baby so his cheeks touched on both sides) and the seat was uncomfortable. We had the most accidents with this one. He would scream as soon as you put him on it and chose to poop in his diaper instead (at a year old now so huge back step) This toilet has been amazing. The cushion is sturdy and flexible and has been the easiest to clean. My son has bent it before and it hasn’t shown any wear. Also, the hole is big enough to fit his bum without poo splatter going anywhere but the actual toilet. He will sit on this for 15+ minutes at a time and won’t complain. We’ve gotten to the point now (14months old) where he will tell me he has to poop and follows me to the bathroom to use this. If you’re potty training a little one. This is the toilet to beat. Only downside is the arms underneath did not work for our toilet seat but I didn’t mind as we share a toilet so it’s really easy to remove and set aside for me.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend the sea for boys if they have trouble aiming while sitting down. Pros: The splash guard is the highest I’ve seen which is great for boys but unnecessary if you have girls obviously. It’s very comfortable for my little one and installation was fairly easy. Cons: If you’re potty training a boy and he doesn’t have a good aim, his fluids will get under cushion part of the seat which means you have to wipe the top and bottom of the cushion and potty seat as well as the toilet seat. Also, because the splash guard was so high I found that it was harder for my son to get on and off and because the handles are toward the back of the potty seat when he would push forward to get off the seat wobble (that could just be from my specific toilet but worth mentioning).

This seat latches on perfectly to all the toliet seats in my house. My kid is up there securely and loves that he has handles to hold onto.

The seat is sturdy. Has nice handles on each side and appears to be comfy. As with all the potty seats I have seen and/or purchased, the guard for little boys is not sufficient to do what it is meant to do. Other than it’s great.

I was having a hard time finding a potty training seat for my son that had a tall lip. This is perfect! Cleans easily and comes on and off the toilet without hassle.

This seat is great for the toilet. Our toddler hated using the big potty but once he figured out how easy it was to sit on this, he prefers to go here rather than his little toilet. We love the splash guard at the top as well.

We have 3 levels in our home so at first we trie a potty chair but we had to lug it around. I found this product and fell in love! I’m going to get two more for the other bathrooms as well! No more lugging, he can go wherever he is! And what a great idea! Just literally flush it like a normal toilet. And it took me like 2 minutes to put together. VERY fast!

We bought this because it has a bigger pee guard than some other potties. The brackets that hold it in place are unnecessary. It doesn’t slip around when our son sits on it. He hasn’t actually gone in the potty yet, so I can’t say whether the guard is sufficient or not.
