25-11-2024My two year old niece had gotten to the point of letting everyone know when she was going to the potty, but would refuse to use the toilet or her potty training toilet. For some reason she was afraid to sit on her potty training toilet or the standard toilet. My sister had tried a lot of things and was becoming very frustrated. A friend told me about this product and so I ordered I one for us to try. We were very impressed. Everything looked exactly like it was pictured and the Katie doll was super cute and soft and it’s my niece’s favorite doll now. Anyway, the toy potty was perfect because my niece got to role play with the doll by putting her on the potty herself and pretending the doll was peeing. After playing with it for a few hours the first day, my niece agreed to try and sit on her potty training toilet. Although she was still a little scared and she didn’t go in the toilet that night, she at least got up on the toilet! The next morning she woke up and wanted to play with her new doll and by lunch SHE ASKED TO USE HER OWN POTTY!! She loved the reward cards with the surprise activities. My sister and I are thrilled with the results. Literally the third she wanted to try the “big girl toilet” (the standard toilet). This was money well spent on a tired momma and her toddler.

> 3 dayJust potty trained my second daughter using this program. Well designed, great quality and fun for the kids. Our second was much easier to potty train because she saw her big sister do it, but it was very cool and almost rite of passage-y to see our younger daughters face when she was presented with HER Tot On The Pot. The parents guide and accompanying book are really well done and my kids both recall specific phrases to help them (ie blow a bubble or rub your tummy and it will help you poop!). Great product. Cant recommend it enough.

> 3 dayWOOOHOOO! Potty Training is officially behind us! This package made it far easier on us than we feared it would be. Our son loved the Activity Rewards and he kept on asking us to do more...were still doing them every time he visits the bathroom since he got such a kick out of them.

> 3 dayOur grandson was 3 yrs & 3 mo old when we got the kit. The guide that comes with the kit has some good advice. He had passing interest in the doll but did not relate to it when it came to the potty training aspect. It might have been better if the doll actually peed to show him what was expected of him. The activities on the cards didnt make much difference to him. He was amused but it didnt motivate him. Mainly he just liked putting the cards in the slot. Bottom line for potty training is the adult making a strong commitment for several days to be attentive to making the child aware of what to do when they feel the urge. Its breaking the habit of him just going in his diaper. By 3 years he is so accustomed to just going in his diaper that he doesnt even realize it is about to happen. He needed to recognize the urge and learn to hold it until he gets to a bathroom. I think after spending $50 for the kit we were motivated to commit several days to get it done. The guide was why I gave it 3 stars.

> 3 dayAs the founder of Mindful Ninja Mom, you can imagine my overwhelm when my four-year-old daughter wouldn’t use the potty. I knew many of the potty teaching tips, but alas, I couldn’t get my daughter to tinkle or toot in anything but her beloved diaper. That is where Tot on the Pot came in (which I can’t recommend enough)! It has everything that my fearful little girl needed to brave the potty - an engaging picture book, a parenting handbook, cards for celebrating each potty success, and a doll for role playing that came with its very own potty!

> 3 dayMy toddler ripped the pages out of the adult manual and chewed on the reward cards. Most got thrown away. The pants on the doll do not stay up and I keep seeing this half naked anatomically correct stuffed doll laying around the house. It was just a waste of money for us. Hopefully it works better for other families.

> 3 dayWe had slow and mixed results with potty training on our own. Our baby loves going potty with the doll and showing the doll how to use the potty. The only down side is how hard it is to take off the dolls clothes (our baby insists that doll takes off clothes to go potty as well). The dolls are... more anatomically correct than I expected. Which, in a strange way helped. Our toddler point to the doll to say where pee and poo comes from. And wipes the dolls butt after going potty just like youre doing to your own child. We help wash the dolls hands after to keep the doll from becoming a sponge at the bottom of the sink. Overall, we have had a lot less accidents. The cards arent as effective as a surprise award. Our baby loves 2 or 3 of the cards and goes thru the whole pile looking for them. Which is fine, serves its purpose as a reward. But, as a whole, its been super helpful.
