POWER / SWR METER CB Radio 100 Watts w/ 3 Jumper cable - Workman SWR3P & CX-3-PL-PL

> 3 dayThis combination dual SWR meter was exactly what I needed to tune my CB to the antenna. It worked perfectly. The plus side was that the jumper cable was included and it arrived so quickly. Once the antenna was trimmed to the desired length and the SWR on the CB was calibrated, I decided not to leave it in line (permanently installed). Those who desire to do so, may, the meter(s) does not interfere with the operation of the CB.

Greater than one weekThe needles work. Good quality. But the instructions of use and calibration are foggy to me. I had a similar meter 25 years ago. It seemed alot more easier to use. Its probably me. But Im a retired electrician and worked at Tektronix on higher tech gear than this.

> 3 dayThis is a piece of junk. I wish I could be more expressive, but those words arent allowed on Amazon reviews. If you like struggling for hours trying to tune your antenna and then in the end, not being able to have any confidence in the SWR readings you got, then this unit is for you. Both meters lack the low friction bearings that one would find in a affordable SWR meter from say, Radio Shack. This manufacturing shortcut that saved maybe 25 cents makes them very sticky and utterly unreliable. The case is made well enough and I cant find fault with the connectors, coax, adjustment knob, etc. You cant expect silver plating at this price point. In my case, BOTH meters do not return to zero after reading anything above 3/4 scale. You have to tap them with a finger to get them to return to zero. Being the cheap, Chinese junk that they are, there are no zero adjustments on the meter face itself. The shortcuts dontt stop there. They seem to be friction fit into the housing because just handling this unit, if you put any finger pressure on the flimsy meters, they feel as if they want to cave into the unit. Learn from my mistake. My advice for any of you seriously considering this unit or anything else made by this manufacturer: Google Radio Shack 21-534. Youre not going to escape the Made in China quality lottery at this price point, but at least youll have something that works remarkably well for the price.

Greater than one weekIf you are looking for an very accurate meter, this is not the one. It does get you close enough to save your CB, but I could never get the same reading twice.

Greater than one weekWorks very well very easy to use. Appears to be very well made. Would recommend it for anybody to tune in there in cb radios.

> 3 dayThe meter is simple. But it gets the job done. And it is nice to have an external meter for my radio so that I know what my SWR is and what kind of power Im pushing. Works great for its simplicity. Other reviews say the needles get stuck. Bull. Ive had that happen maybe twice. A small tap on the top of the meter and it works fine!
