> 24 hourOnce a month I hold a digital photo workshop where everyone brings their laptop, or even their tablet. I have this in the center of the table so everyone can plug in at the same time, and the long cord lets it reach from the wall outlet to the middle of the table.

> 24 hourI dropped something under my husbands desk and found a tangled web of wires plugged into an RCA power strip. I dont think Ive seen that brand in 20 years! Not that its bad or anything, but with the technological advances weve had since then, and the expensive items that were plugged in, I decided it was time to upgrade the surge protector. I didnt really need that many outlets on it, but I got it just in case. I also got it just in time. During a storm, a tree took out the power lines, leaving us without electricity for 4 days. Two weeks later, in another storm, another tree fell, taking out a transformer and starting a fire on the line. I dont know if our computers and everything wouldve been ok with the old surge protector or not, but they did survive this one. Plus we were able to use this when we got a generator hooked up during the power outage. So, I dont know much about surge protectors, but I do know that this one did its job, and having all those available outlets and USB ports to use with the generator was a relief and everything we had plugged into it prior to the outage has survived.

> 24 hourThe plugs don’t fall out easy and much better than the strips

> 24 hourThe design actually makes more sense than your usual power strip.

> 24 hourHolds a lot of usb cords and plugs, love the ability to toggle off different portions of the tower. Cords are kind of all over because of the tower shape vs a bar
