Needed a bigger power strip for our electronics. This one fit the bill as the spaces between the sockets were big enough especially for the bulkier cords. The power strips cord is long enough to place behind furniture. Construction seems sturdy to last awhile.

I had a trusty power strip that Ive used for years that I retired for this power strip. While the other power strip has been great, it just was designed for a different era. There are cable inputs/outputs as well as phone line inputs/outputs, but there are no USB outlets. This power strip comes with USB outlets and a bunch of power outlets, including two that have ample spacing. We have two main charging stations in our bedroom which we upgraded from old power strips to newer ones with USB inputs. The other one (also reviewed and got 5 stars) is by our bed as it has fewer outlets but they are spaced further apart which was good for humidifiers, etc. This one is being used as our central hub for things like phones and tablets and miscellaneous items that need a charge. Its cleaned up the space actually. We got to eliminate 4 USB chargers, one of which would block an outlet and open up more space and create less clutter. Well probably be buying more power strips for the rest of the house and might think about getting ones with even more USB charging ports built in.

This one I bought and used, within 24 hours it shorted out, was burning from the inside and sparking out. I thank God I was home. I hope this is a unique experience and does not happen to anyone else. I bought one similar to this months ago (smaller version). I liked it so much I bought, this one, a bit bigger version for another room. Last night I plugged in the unit, then plugged in normal 2 items: my internet modem, and desk speakers (thats it). Then tonight I hear a pop then my electricity goes out. I put the braker back on, then start to hear popping noises, I go back in and this unit is sparking and I smell burning plastic/chemical smell. It was starting to burn up. I turned the braker back off and unplugged this unit. Perhaps this was just a fluke? but please be careful, if you hear popping, smell smoke, turn off your home braker and unplug and return unit. The burning was from the inside, as you can see it melted the one section after just a short time.

Good power strip I wish it had more usb spots tho. But I love it.
