This is very fun to use and does a really nice job of editing. My concern is that some people are saying there is a renewal fee, however, it is stated that this is a one time fee. I guess time will tell. Should I get a renewal notice I will come back and adjust the review. Other than that this package has a lot of tools and it is fairly easy to use.

Im thrilled with my purchase of this product. It has delivered on all its promises, and I find myself using it constantly.

I used to do photo and video editing very often (and used an earlier version of this software). Its been awhile so there is definitely a learning curve here. Its not software you click on and magic occurs. However, if you take the time to watch some YouTube videos, it works great. Its worth the time to learn how to do it. I am working on editing old family photos and some drone videos done by my son. Its definitely worth the learn and is easier than other software that I have attempted. The results are fantastic.

The product seems like it can do a lot, but finding out how to use it is another challenge as there are no instructions. When you go to the website it appears as though there are tutorials; however, when you view them you find that its advice for a different program like the Mobile Version which is not the same. Amazon was able to find something that will help. I am very disappointed with the assistance from Cyberlink. Seems that they are only interested in assisting their subscription services. When you do contact them concerning issues to their website, instead of dealing with your question they send the same link that didnt work in your question. No one actually reads your requests, its just an automated response. Maybe they dont work anything but M-F, 9-5. Not exactly 24-7-365 support.

The desc suggests ability to make a slide show with video clips as well - well that was incorrect After spending hours trying to make this work I finally gave up and sent this back for credit

I do not have a CD/DVD reader on my new computer. There is a link to the digital copy in the instructions that doesnt work. When I contacted cyberlink support after creating an account, there response was, You will need to supply a picture of the product, the disks with the product key, and proof a purchase. If you have a disk reader, maybe this is for you... If you dont, buy from someone else. Wow, what a headache.

The CyberLink PowerDirector 21 Ultra & PhotoDirector 14 Ultra package is a complete photo and video editing software package that includes TONS of features for your WINDOWS based computer. Yes, this is a Windows based software package that includes the two CD installation disk set, or if you laptop or desktop does NOT have a CD ROM unit, it also includes the Digital Download instructions so you can download the software without using the disks. You will need the Registration Key Code regardless of which method you use to install the software. This key code is printed on Disk 1 of the software. I used the disks to install on my computer running Windows 11 without a hitch and it took about 15 minutes to finish the installation of all the software. I am not “unfamiliar” to photo and video editing, however I have never used PowerDirector. Following the excellent step by step directions and tutorials so far the software looks amazing! I am sure there will be a bit of a “learning curve” as there is with all new software programs however I look forward to learning and utilizing this as much as I can going forward. I do most of my current editing on my mobile devices (both iPhone and IPads) so I look forward to having my big monitor in use with this software in the future. I was able to import a bunch of my short videos and pics from my iPhone and IPad to folders on my computer for use via the software and built folders for them. As I stated, this software is jam packed with just about any editing tool you can think of and so far I am just scratching the surface of what can be done! I plan to watch all the tutorials provided and also setup my account for other info and tips from CyberLink along with the 1 year free cloud storage provided free as well!! If you are into video/picture editing from the basics to pro, this package should be able to do it all, and then some!

Powerful Editing and Creating Software. This software is for editing photos, videos, and a slick slideshow creator. It has numerous editing functions as well as a gallery loaded with extra content. I particularly like the full range of text fonts and how easy it is to manipulate their colors, sizes, shadows, etc. for use in either your slide program or videos. This software also provides many templates for creating a very professional look to your images. There is a learning curve and I learn a bit more every time I use this platform. In addition they provide 50GB of cloud storage in their extra’s. Its a very easy install with two CD’s. Disc 1 sets up both the Power Director and the Photo Director and Disc 2 contains all the extras. You can download the program also from the internet, just make sure you have your KEY Codes handy as you will need to enter them to solidify ownership. This is a super value compared to other editing software.

Install issues and product support was wonderful. I enjoy the program and would recommend this product to other users.

I have been using PowerDirector 19 for a while and wanted to upgrade since I upgraded my computer. Having photodirector as part of the bundle was a huge plus. Initially, I did the software download since my new system doesnt have an external drive. The download took way too long. The site kept disconnecting and then went incredibly slow. After I installed, the key didnt fully activate the photodirector. Some of the features didnt work even after entering the key again. I ended up using an external DVD drive to install and then everything worked as it was supposed to. I mainly used this for editing video from a gopro. The software has done everything I needed. I also started trying to edit photos since the software was available but Ill need to take some tutorials to get the most out of the features.
