Seems to work well

Two RV -Bought TWO. One mounted in the living room. The fan is so loud I had to unplug it. The second was mounted in a 5th wheel Basement and it could still be heard in the living quarters. I WISH IT WHERE NOT SO for everything else including the price was great.

Replaced the same the same converter that was a little older. Works fine so far, but way louder than the older unit that we never even hear unless we were right next to it. Pretty disappointed about the noise level.

I use this unit as a solar charger for a backup system. It installs easily and it has a very high build quality. Since it is being used for a back up it will probably not get a lot of use, However I expected it to behave flawlessly when I need it to.

Yes it will charge lithium’s but you must leave it switched to “fixed output” and adjust it to 14.4 volts. Once the battery achieves this voltage you must manually turn it off, as there is no “float” charge in “fixed” setting. Think of it as a 50 amp power supply with a stable voltage output in “fixed” mode. If the switch is placed in 3 stage it will not charge lithium’s correctly (even if you set the V in the in fixed mode). It seems to time out and go to a pre set lead acid absorption mode (too low for lithiums) regardless of what the “bulk” voltage is set at. I can only assume that it will charge lead acid fine in 3 stage plus you can set bulk voltage. Fan goes on and off as needed and not too loud.

This unit works fine but is very noisy. Too late to send back, but I would iff I could. It will keep you awake at night when it turns on.
