> 24 hourI use this unit as a solar charger for a backup system. It installs easily and it has a very high build quality. Since it is being used for a back up it will probably not get a lot of use, However I expected it to behave flawlessly when I need it to.

> 24 hourA lot of reviews mention how loud it is. Well, it is certainly louder than the original one. However, to replace the original one it would be at least double the price. We call that a push. Ease of install will vary depending on your rig. For mine I needed to get another piece of ground wire as the lug is in a different location the the original one. That said, if you think you will ever need to adjust the voltage be mindful on where those switches are when you install it. Otherwise, it works well.

> 24 hourMy new batteties would do a nose dive with the old converter! This was properly set for voltage and charge rate and it does the job. very easy install. Excellent get one>

> 24 hourI was able to adjust the voltage level up so that the unit will pump close to rated load into the house batteries during bulk charge phase. The original 55A converter would only pump out 10-20 amps during bulk charge due to the low upper voltage limit and the fact the unit is located over 20 feet away from the house batteries and Fleetwood only ran 6 AWG wire to the unit. The small wire causes big voltage drops at the battery with currents over 15-20 amps. This unit allowed me to adjust for that. Also has a manual mode that allowed me to bump the voltage way up for several hourse to due a true reconditioning on the house batteries. Have to use carefully to avoid overcharging and boiling off the batteries.

> 24 hourYes it will charge lithium’s but you must leave it switched to “fixed output” and adjust it to 14.4 volts. Once the battery achieves this voltage you must manually turn it off, as there is no “float” charge in “fixed” setting. Think of it as a 50 amp power supply with a stable voltage output in “fixed” mode. If the switch is placed in 3 stage it will not charge lithium’s correctly (even if you set the V in the in fixed mode). It seems to time out and go to a pre set lead acid absorption mode (too low for lithiums) regardless of what the “bulk” voltage is set at. I can only assume that it will charge lead acid fine in 3 stage plus you can set bulk voltage. Fan goes on and off as needed and not too loud.

> 24 hourWorks good, kind of noisy under high load while charging nearly dead deep cycle batteries.

> 24 hourOut of the box, set at 14.77v, yiur results may vary, but mine was ready to go.
