POWERTEC 45204 A/O Hook and Loop 6 Hole Disc, 6, 40 Grit, 25PK

I used this product to grind painted plaster off the surface of 120 year old brick. Multiple chemicals were tried before resorting to my 6 power sander with this 40 grit product. I wasnt concerned about smoothing the brick surface while removing the plaster. Lots of dust, and lots of discs, but all surface plaster is gone. I used acid to remove the plaster which embedded itself in the pores of the brick.

I originally returned the item because it looked just like another sanding disc that I bought before and it did not remove anything at all. After using one, I decided to keep it because it was a good product.

I needed something that would cut through the heavy paint, 95 years of it. This did the trick without loading up. Ill be buying more as I need. 1 went quite a ways. Only through 1 away from the 5x6 area to clean.

They stick to my sander without any problems and I get quite a bit out of each piece before having to change it out. I was really impressed by that as I was afraid they wouldn’t last long since they were so cheap but I like surprises like this. Actually there’s a few times they stick so well it’s kind of hard to pull them off to change out but definitely not something to complain about. I’ll most definitely buy again.
