The pins used in the male connector, do not have rolled edges, which makes for a difficult time mating. Secondly the crimp on some pins was made to close to the barrel of the pin which results in the pin being bent at a slight angle. This also makes mating difficult. Once a connection is made they work fine.

Just plug in your leads from the two panels in to the connector. Get the built in fuse connector and you have a clean job.

These seem well made. More flexible that some others I have bought. I have not hooked an ohm meter up to test resistance, but short of that I think I have given them a good run down. 400w of panels at about 40v, no complaints.

I set up my solar system, and when I wasnt getting voltage worked my way through the system to find that one of the connectors on this adapter wasnt seated correctly. I was able to fix it myself, and I imagine most people building out a solar setup would be able to as well; but its still an issue I wish I didnt need to fix on a new product.
