These vitamins are the same ones that I purchase at the pharmacy or supermarket. They come in soft red gel caps that are easy to swallow and there is no unpleasant flavor. My optometrist recommended that I take them and said there have been medical studies done that back up the fact that they help improve eye strength and they are beneficial in treating moderate to advanced age-related macular degeneration. There are some side effects so talk to your doctor. I found these vitamins on Amazon for a lot less than I pay elsewhere.

Ive been taking PreserVision AREDS 2 for a while now. I do not eat what you would call health, I am diabetic and I am over 60. I saw the commercial for PreserVision and figure they couldnt hurt. Ive been taking them for a while now and personally I think they have helped sharpen my vision. My eye specialist says he doesnt feel they do anything for my situation, but again I think they have. Youll have to makeup your own mind. 12/5/22 Update: Ive had a few eye problems this past 12 months. I started taking PreserVision AREDS 2 because of a commercial I saw. Now when I go in for my eye checkups the technicians asks if I still take the PreserVision. My non professional opinion is yes they do help especially for someone whos diet isnt exactly balanced. 04/07/23 Update: They arrived securely packaged and in a timely fashion. I wouldnt call my diet exactly healthy so Im happy there is PreserVision AREDS 2. I have to say my eye doctors always ask me if I am still taking them to which I say yes twice a day.

Using this to help prevent macula degeneration

Does it work, I asked? Were there clinical trials to prove it was worth buying and using? Yes, my doc said. It’s the only thing that has been shown to slow the progression of potential macular degeneration. I trust them.

I like that these vitamins are so easy to swallow and have no bad taste or aftertaste, I take them because of the Bausch and Lomb name and the results of their testing. My eye doctor is very happy that I take Areds 2.

It good and effactive

I tried other eye vitamins, and my doctor recommends these as they have done all the research on it and found it to be the best eye vitamins out there. Several doctors checked different types and this one has all the things you need to good eye supplement. Some of the other brand include fillers and they said that this one doesnt.

My optometrist has had me on these vitamins for years. They seem to be helping keep my macular degeneration under control.
