Simple and always works best radio in 15 years I haber ever owned

Works as advertised. Used this radio to replace a ranger 696that I’ve had for 10 years. I hardly ever talk sideband in the mobile so I decided on this guy. It’s smaller and lighter than the ranger I replaced seems to be on channel. I do really enjoy the asc circuit. If I want to hear more distant stuff I turn the squelch up til it disengages the asc and it works as normal. Really in my mind what the cobra 29 lx should have been.

This is an amazing radio, all the features I wanted, in a modern design. My only minor ding was it takes a 6 pin mic, but I found an adapter so its all good.

This is a great medium sized CB radio that is smaller than a Cobra 29.More like the size of a cobra 25..Without any mods it gets out and hears good even without me tuning the SWR.Radio comes with Roger beep and talkback.Display is really nice because you can change the colors.

An excellent product can I use it everyday in my truck reliable easy to use and looks great to in my truck

The radio has some good features. Transmit is so so. Wasnt expecting much on the wattmeter, but thats ok. The receive is crappy. A Bearcat 980 will beat the brakes off of it on the quality of the receive. ( Just cant see the display). All these CB designers need to hire someone to help design the darn things. They get nearly there and stop short of a quality transmitter, receiver and display. You come close Uniden with the 980. President not so on the Walker. IMHO.

Really disappointed when I open the box to find that it was clearly used device. Nothing like the unboxings from YouTube. It was dirty and smelled like an electrical fire. I didnt even attempt to install it in the vehicle. I put it on the bench and couldnt get any power. This might be a perfectly fine radio but I never got an opportunity to test it.
