Greater than one weekThis platform is just what I was looking for. I needed shelf perches for my pigeon cage. I just used zip ties to secure it and put some shelf liner on it for coziness because they should not sit on wire. They love it!

> 3 dayI have a 27 year old conure who has developed arthritis. She was frequently falling off of her perch at night, due to her weakened claw strength. When I first put two of these ledges in her cage, she was afraid of them and wouldnt go on them. Now she is used to them and frequently rests on them. She has not fallen off of her perches at night since then, as she sleeps on one of these ledges. I highly recommend this product for older birds who fall off of their perches while sleeping.

> 3 dayMy Mexican Red Headed Amazon has Arthritis and she absolutely Loves this! Ruffles can finally sleep comfortably. I highly recommend this platform to anyone who has a bird that’s elderly or possibly dealing with any type of health issues. NOTE: This particular platform may be too small for some of the larger birds, Macaws, Too’s, etc.

> 3 dayThis platform is awesome! It can be used with almost any cage, inside or outside. I wrapped mine in colorful, bird safe vet wrap (it was $3 on amazon) so its cushy and soft on my birds feet. If you have a budgie, canary, lovebird or any bird similar sized, i recommend doing the same thing. Your birds small feet might slip through the platform and your bird could get injured. This platform, as well as different shaped and textured perches, will help with preventing arthritis and bumblefoot when your bird gets older.

> 3 dayIt is a little bigger than I thought it would be. My mistake...I didnt realize this was built for larger birds.

> 3 dayWorks great for an outdoor aviary. The stand is placed between hardware cloth and plexiglass. My eclectus stands on it while eating. I use it to hold fresh food. A wooden skewer is used to hold the paper bowl in place.
