The clasps are a little difficult to open for a toddler but I guess that’s also a good thing so that it doesn’t open easily and the eggs don’t fall all over the place. Love the fact that you can teach numbers and colors to a toddler . My 2 yr old daughter loves them. She really enjoys putting them in order. The eggs were a little hard for her to put together at first but then she got the hang of it. This is a great toy!
