Prima Marketing Prima Confections Watercolor Pans 12/Pkg-Currents

I love this palette! I’m a little obsessed with Prima Watercolor Confections right now and plan on getting all the palettes at some point. The blues and greens in this are fantastic! I find that Prima colors dry fairly quickly, at least on the paper I use. These are so pigmented and lovely. I highly recommend for anyone considering buying them. Buy them!

Every color in this set is stunning and dreamlike. Many of the blues and greens are present in the Alhambra in Spain. I think if we could imagine the depths of every ocean in the world, these would be representative of them. Very pleased with the purchase.

Beautifully pigmented watercolors. I love the collections of colors that Prima Marketing offers. The pallette is compact, yet has a second mixing area that folds out. Great for using limited pallette colors.

I have no idea whether Prima brand watercolor products are professional or student quality, but I consider them among my favorite two or three brands to use! I have Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton, Holbein, artisinal handcrafted paints purchased through Etsy, I have paints in tubes and paints in pans, liquid concentrated paints and watercolor pencils and markers--basically, I am obsessed with watercolor paint and paper. Prima brand paints are my favorite because their colors inspire my creativity in ways that I normally struggle with. Their Currents pallette is designed for any water-related images you would wish to create. The pigments activate almost immediately after you add water, and they are a real pleasure to use. The price is on the lower end;each palette set costs between $20 and $25, which makes my goal of owning every palette set much easier to meet! The *only* critique I have against these palettes would be that the pans arent magnetic, which means they freely move around in the metal case. It got to be pretty annoying to me, so I purchased a roll of narrow magnetic tape and made each pan magnetic and solved the problem myself. It would, however, look much nicer if the pans came magnetized to begin with! Other than that (which isnt really a big deal anyway) I have nothing but praise for the products!

The colors are gorgeous. Beautiful and highly pigmented color payoff. These are more expensive than other brands and the package was smaller than I expected but I think you will be pleased with the color options and overall product. Great as a gift as well.

Continuing my goal of getting the entire collection of the “Confections” series! Artist quality at a good price. Beautiful colors, mix well, easy to use on many brands of watercolor paper. I have even been successful on mixed media paper.

The watercolors are so easy to use, I have ordered several sets now. I like how the pallets of colors are sold in sets such as: Currents; Tropicals; Woodlands; Pastel Dreams.

Lovely paint colors are vibrant.

This is a nice set. Very vibrant. All of the colors go well together. They make nice transparent washes and beautiful opaque layers.
