They are very easy to use for a beginner and no shedding at all! They live up to their name, very snappy instead of soft, but that makes it easier to control the brush strokes. On top of that, great price for a quality product. Cannot get cheaper for a brand like Princeton

Im not a fan of soft bristles, so these are perfect for me. Great points, sturdy.
