As a long time diabetic, I know how important clean teeth and gums really are. These toothbrushes keep me from suffering gum disease and bleeding gums. They clean well and never cause problems. Worth the cost!

I love PRO-SYS toothbrushes. They are so soft and comfortable on gums, but they still get teeth clean. My dental hygienist gave me one to try, and she told me I could get more on Amazon. And I did! Its the only type of toothbrush I use now.

I have been looking for these for many months. Best small head soft toothbrush around for adults. My gums are sensitive to stiff or large head toothbrushes.

I am surprised, at my rather advanced age, to find I am wearing braces. The orthodontist gave me lots of instructions and a sample toothbrush to use. Brushing is a big part of wearing braces and the toothbrush is critical. They gave me a special orthodontic toothbrush. Unfortunately it has a handle about the shape and diameter of a McDonalds straw. That coupled with the little touch of arthritis in my thumb means I cant keep a good grip while I am vigorously brushing around all the little brackets. You would think the special orthodontic toothbrush was designed for people with tiny hands...like maybe kids. I decided to try these brushes. They are a great choice. The bristles are very soft. The cross-section of the handle is rectangular and easy to hold. In the first photo I tried to show how the bristles are not trimmed off evenly at the end. Each bristle tapers to a point and they seem to poke under the wires and around the brackets better than any other brushes I have tried. The second photo shows the size of the handle. Very nice brushes.

By far my favorite toothbrush of any Ive ever tried. I have autoimmune disorders that make my gums extremely sensitive and prone to bleeding. Regular toothbrushes are incredibly painful to use these days. These are the softest and gentlest toothbrushes you can get! Well worth the money.

Excellent! This is by far the best toothbrush that I have ever used and I am 74 years old! I wish I had this toothbrush years ago! I love that it is easy to clean as the bristles are just the correct distance apart. I can massage my gums without pain as I recently got dentures and had some pretty sore gums. It cleans my implants thoroughly and comfortably. It is just the best of the best! Congratulations on creating this extraordinary toothbrush!

Verdict: Not worth it. Something like the Colgate 360 extra soft has just as soft bristles, coupled with a flexible handle (vs the prosys good, but non flexible handle), and a longer head with variable length bristles that will do a better job. There is nothing particularly bad with the prosys, but the competitors out win it in every way. I tried to find the softest toothbrush to counteract my receding gums that I got from applying too much pressure. Well, this aint it. the bristles them self are just not that soft. I tried the extra soft Colgate 360, Jordans ultra soft and this model, all in the last year. this is not softer then any of them (after few uses, out of the box this is softer). There is one difference though between the others the this: the wider head of the prosys gives less resistance when pushing down on it. the Jordans (which looks like a standard toothbrush head) has a narrower head, with denser bristles so when pressing against the gums, there is a significant difference in the resistance you get. With that said, its not any better then the Colgate 360 extra soft, which has a more advanced head. So if its not that soft, the head is less advanced, the handle doesnt flex, it made in china and the price is the same, whats the point? Its not that its bad, is just cant compete with the Colgate on design nor is it noticeably softer. I really expected a much softer experience from reading all the reviews. Update: Just went back to the Colgate 360 EXTRA SOFT - and OMG the difference. My gums barley feel the toothbrush over them, rather then the aggressive Prosys. Also, one of the brushes came defected, with uneven and falling bristles. Sorry prosys, but this is no match to the Colgate. Im downgrading my review to 2 stars.

The PRO-SYS Extra Soft Toothbrush is now my #1, favorite toothbrush. Dental hygiene is no longer a bloody, painful necessity. It was love at first brush. For me, this brush has lived up to its claims and ended my search for one compatible with my gums. 5 stars - my hygienist noticed and commented on the improvement. Im so sold on it that its been added to my subscribe and save list.

Best toothbrush! Soft & gentle on gums like manual toothbrushes should be, & the way they were many years ago. I have tried many different ones in the past year, and this is by far the best & most reasonably priced. I just wish they were made in the USA, instead of China. I would even be willing to pay more for them, if they were MADE IN AMERICA!!!!

I love these toothbrushes!!! Some medical conditions & medications cause soreness in your mouth & soft gums that can get irritated by medium toothbrushes purchased in stores. These brushes are softer than the soft brushes found in local stores but it does not cause any damage to my gums. Because the brush is softer, I change to a new brush every 3 months.
