> 3 dayIts hard to buy ear muffs for kids online. I ordered several pairs to test them out. Procase Kids Safety Ear Muffs PROHEAR 032 Kids Ear protection safety ear muffs Dr. Meter EM100 Kids protective earmuffs 3M Kids Hearing Protection Plus ZOHAN EM030 Kids Ear Protection Safety Ear Muffs, [Upgraded] My kids tested each in terms of sound and comfort. I personally tested each of them in front of some consistently loud music, and ended up testing two pairs on a plane ride later. Here are my top 3 picks: Procase Kids Safety Ear muffs Dr. Meter EM100 ZOHAN EM030 These three items are nearly identical in their sound muffling ability. The 3M Kids were about the same, too, but their fit over the ears was a little bit too big and allowed sound to creep in. The Dr. Meter and Procase are nearly identical in size and fit. ZOHAN EM030 was perhaps more comfortable, but the ear cans were definitely larger. I tested ZOHAN and Dr. Meter on a plane, and could not tell a difference between the two in noise reduction, but the ZOHAN was more comfortable due to the thicker, softer ear cups. The 3M kids hearing protection plus was very tall and the bottoms stuck down below the curve of my kids jaw line, so sound would leak in there. However, for comfort, my kids rated them highly. The PROHEAR 032 Kids Ear protection was the absolute worst. There was hardly any sound protection offered. Perhaps if there were sounds that were like a hiss, they would block it, but as far as music was concerned, we all agreed they were terrible. Dont Bother with those.

Greater than one weekRead other reviews, went with this product. Wanted for my almost 2 year old that loves to ride the lawnmower with his daddy. They fit great on him and fit great on myself as well. Very comfortable, my son likes to wear them even around the house if he sees them as if it’s a game. I read some reviews saying they used on even 6 month olds. I think this would be a great gift for anyone with a new baby, you’ll need these when you don’t expect it and it’s good to have on hand not just for loud stadiums!

> 3 dayMy son loves these to cancel some background noise. He liked them so much we got him an extra to keep at school. The kids in his class also liked taking turns with them. Most of the time they become a play item/dress up around the house but good for blocking out loud noises in the classroom or vacuum cleaner.

> 3 dayBought these for the air show with the US Navy Blue Angels. Helped a lot for my toddler to be able to tolerate the extreme loud environment. Will be using them again for a concert that shouldn’t be as loud. Great for price.

> 3 dayI bought these to mitigate an issue with my in-laws parrot, whom my 3-year-old is terrified of. He would cover his ears and be miserable until someone covered the bird cage. This was a last-ditch effort to take the edge off, and it worked! He was able to happily play and hang out, while the bird squawked and did her thing in the other room. I can only imagine these would work in any other loud environment, and cant wait to test them out on a parade later in the summer. If your kid is sensitive to loud noises, I recommend giving these a try. My little guy isnt on the spectrum but does hate loud or sudden noises, so he tolerates wearing these really well. (Not sure if kids with other sensory issues would, however. They hug the head and ears pretty well.) My kid is the size of a 5 or 6-year-old with a giant head, so if you have an older kid that may benefit from these, they should fit all right.
