I purchased these for my wife since our daughter seems to steal all of her “bangs combs.” I wanted to get her something nicer than just the standard. She is pleased with the combs, claiming they’re more substantial in her hand than the cheap dollar store type.

Wanted to buy this because I left my favorite/best tail comb at my moms house. And she lives states away. On top of that, the nearest Beauty Supply store near me is farther away (I am in a predominately white area). So yea, thats just the struggles of being black in the middle of nowhere. Hence the title, writing this review on behalf of all my black womens out here buying hair products/tools on Amazon. I definitely did NOT want to buy this product initially because all the rave reviews were by white people who already had semi-straight hair with minimum frizz. Meanwhile, Im on the other side of my laptop wondering if this thing can straighten my hair bone silky straight (not stiff straight) on a silk press. Ladies, this comb did definitely did its job in getting the look I was aiming for. Like, I was expecting it to cause my hair to be straight-but stiff with no silky movement-but it worked. So for ALL my black ladies out here make sure you get this comb if you want a silk pressed bounce silky hair look. -will make sure to post pictures soon-

I purchases the professional 8.8 inch tail comb for splitting hair. There is so many choices and Im glad I purchased the one with metal on the end instead of plastic. Its very durable and has a skinny metal end which works perfect for splitting hair. Worth the price. I would recommend

Great comb, does exactly what I need it to do. I use this for sectioning and weaving highlights into my baby fine hair. It is also great for securely grabbing and placing foils. The comb is nice and strong and makes it easy to accomplish the task at hand. A must have in my home salon toolkit.
