It is very flexible and works well for my strightener. Soft rubber feel not the hard plastic stuff.

So honestly I don’t know much about these items however my teen daughters do! I got these because they were looking to get a better flat iron and curling iron. Well so far they use them all the time everyday before school and they love them. It’s hard enough to please them in anything especially hair products but both my teen daughters love these!! So if they love them I love them means I don’t have to hear them complain about it not working or not doing what it was intended to do. So awesome product!!!
