I bought these for my 15-1 quarter horse who lately started clipping the inside of his ankle every time we ride. I bought a Large based on other reviews and they were a perfect fit. No more cut ankles and it really improved our ride. I expected the boot to show wear where he’s clipping but so far nothing. Very happy with these.

My mare is usually a medium in bells but two people at my barn told me I had to order a size up. I ordered the large and was worried they would be too big- theyre actually a tad small. Not too small that she cant wear them but that I have to arrange the Velcro in a way that fits her better. Definitely order a size up if havent seen the size youre ordering in person!

True to size and holds up well

Nothing lasts like the Professional Choice ones. We live in wet conditions and to help prevent shoes being pulled off in the paddock, all the shod horses wear boots. The hardest wearing are the glittery sparkles ones however - I dont know why that is - but I get 6 months out of them - 24/7 365 wear. For competition we upgrade to a new pair. One horse in particular will scuff out a pair of bell boots in one session of cross country. With the Pro Choice his competition ones last about 4 xc before they are put on in the paddock. I have tried various brands but these last FAR better.

The color is slightly off from the support boots, but they are durable and well worth the money.

FINALLY GET THEM IN AND THEY SEEMED TOO SMALL AND TOO LATE. NOW THEY ARE JUST LAYING AROUND UNUSED.

Great boot. Does not turn. However, they do run small. I have a large 16.2 thoroughbred and bought the large, they are snug on him and rub a little. But...fantastic boot for the buck!
