It was very easy to set up and get going. Its nice that there are speakers built in and its quite bright. The screen correction is a great little tool as well. Looking forward to getting the 20ft screen set up and seeing what its actually capable of.

Projector is great and very easy to set up. 4 corner keystone is real and adjustments to project from the side is do-able. However, this item, as well as the last 3 items Ive recently purchased from Amazon, have shown up used with missing parts. This was bought new, but I discovered the remote missing and the cables had obviously been used and were out of the packaging. Great product but safer to buy from the source or from somewhere else.

Definitely a good projector. Projection distance (long throw): Keep in mind that this is not a short throw, the projector needs to be approximately 12 feet away from the wall to reach a screen size of 100 inches. Video quality HD (1080p): When connected via cable (HDMI) it delivers a very good quality 1080p, even with a 100 size projection screen, without noticing any pixels or distortion. It has a manual focus, cannot be focused with the remote. Wireless Streaming: However, if you want to stream a movie using your iPhone, or android Phone, or a tablet, or a laptop, then its no good at all. The video playback streaming is unable to keep up with the movie, its impossible to stream movies, including youtube. We tried both miracast and ios streaming, both failed to stream wirelessly to the projector. The only thing you can stream wirelessly, are static images, such as pictures, or presentations without video. The only solution to stream videos, its to connect a streaming device dongle, such as Firestick TV, Apple TV, or anything else with reliable good quality wireless video streaming abilities. We going to try with few dongles and well update this review. Lets see if we can wirelessly stream videos and movies. Audio: when the audio is connected via bluethooth to external speakers, there is a noticeable audio delay compared to the video. You can clearly see movies actors moving their lips out of synch with their voice. This projector doesnt offer an audio setting to adjust the audio delay. It must be done with external applications. External Hard Drive: it reads NTFS format external drives, but when trying to play 4k movies, the projector cannot read the files properly, and it cannot play 4k movies. If you want to play movies, you have to use an external device with HDMI connection (such as laptop, or TV boxes (firestick, chromcast, etc.) 4k compatible: Also, this projector is not 4k. They use the term 4k compatible, it means that anything you plug that is 4k will be projected at 1080p maximum. Its not truly 4k compatible, because it cannot handle reading 4k movies. UPDATE: We were contacted by YABER for a refund, as long as we shipped the projector back, and as long as we removed this negative review. Our answer to YABER was: No, we are not desperate to get $250 back, and not willing to compromise our integrity. This review is here to help customers understand the pro and cons of this projector. Some customers dont have enough technical knowledge to make an informed decision, so we are offering our technical knowledge to help Amazon customer making the right choice.

This projector has been the best thing I’ve bought. Sure you can buy a tv…but then you have to move it, mount it, etc. this projector you can carry and move around and have the same quality as watching 65 in flatscreen.

I think this is a great projector for the money. Easily and without any problems hooked up my Apple TV to one of the 2 HDMI inputs and paired my bluetooth headphone. I project the image to a wall about 9.5 ft away from the projector (i.e. no need for a screen) and, once the focus adjustment is made, the image is very sharp (especially when viewing 4K videos like those on Youtube). The contrast is very good even when lights are turned on near the projector. For picture adjustment there are a few preset options as well as user mode option where your individual (contrast, brightness, saturation, etc.) settings get saved. I did not quite understand why the hue could not be adjusted but even without that I was able to get a very decent picture. Sound quality is quite decent and does turn the room into a nice home theater but I suppose hooking up a (bluetooth) sound bar would make it even better especially for low frequency response (have not tried that yet). The fan is relatively quiet but still can be heard when there is no sound in the room but not noticeable when sound is being played back. The unit is very small and light weight. It comes with a nice zipper carrying bag allowing it to be easily and safely transported. Once you connect the projector to your wifi network and enable screen mirroring on your iPhone and select the projector, you can project your iPhone screen and this too worked for me just fine the very first time I tried it. I have not yet tried the USB inputs (nor see a need to). The remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and is very small and works nicely. The instruction manual is pretty straightforward and accurate. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this product based on what I have seen so far. Note that this is my very first projector so I can not comment on how it compares to others in the market but, after performing some careful market research, I bought this unit due to its features (contrast ratio, bluetooth & wifi support, built-in sound quality, etc.), some nice reviews I read about its predecessor model that this unit improves upon and finally its reasonable price.

For the price point it isn’t too bad. I had a problem after using twice. Customer Service told me to contact Amazon and do an exchange. Which I did. Second projectors throw is about 2ft off from every corner from my first one. Contacted customer service numerous times and no response. Based off other reviews it’s a matter of time before it fails. Which, by that point Amazon won’t return and you won’t get a hold of customer service. If you can gamble $200 on a projector it’s probably worth it. Any projector on Amazon at this price point is a crap shoot anyway (if it works and for how long). Some reviews have great luck with customer service but I have had a terrible experience.

Great initial image quality but after only 2 months, the projected image developed significant horizontal dark lines in the middle of the screen. Contacted Yaber customer support to exercise the 3 year warranty for a replacement and was told that none were in stock (even though its still selling on Amazon). They did not even offer another of their projector models. So I was supposed to wait indefinitely for a replacement, which I obviously wasnt going to do. I am now returning it for a full refund. Will update this review if they dont follow through with a full refund. UPDATE: I was refunded the full cost of the projector but was required to pay the return shipping (about $38 via USPS) which I had let them know when I emailed them the tracking number. A week and a half later they are now asking me to take down this review and are also saying they will give me $70 for my troubles. That great! But I will not be taking down this review. Buyer be warned, this projector is sold under a few other names: WiMiUS K1, DBPOWER RD828, TOPTRO X1 and Im sure a few others. Im quite sure Yaber does not actually make this, but only pedals it from a global supplier. Yaber is only acting as a salesman so to speak (along with all the other brands of this projector). Update 2: Changed from 1 star to 5 simply because of the outstanding effort in customer support. I was pleased to have received another projector after going through the trouble of returning the 1st one. The 2nd one had a jammed lens that required some effort to free but it works fine now. But i cant complain being that they provided it free of charge after the 1st being fully refunded. I will update to 3 stars if this one fails prematurely with more lines.
