Do not waste your time with this product, it is a joke to say wifi connection, while it is true, but as long as you are a few feet from the router then it is ok, but if you are outside of 20 ft, you can not connect to wifi, thus make the wireless connection pretty much useless. I returned the product for a full refund.

It’s a good camera that’s easy to set up BUT in order to see the alerts you have to buy an iCloud subscription. I thought with a sd card you wouldn’t need the subscription but I was wrong. I was going to buy a second one for the backyard but now I think I’ll look for a different one . If you don’t mind the subscription, it is a good camera.

Would not function. The QR code in the manual did not work; stated invalid.

I thought it would be good to have a camera for my front door. Im not very handy with ac electrical wiring so I thought before I pay someone to install a ring doorbell with a camera I would try this. Getting this camera to connect requires quite a bit of patience. Connect your phone to 2g wifi (it wont work with 5g). Then power up the camera, scan the qr code on the side, then a qr code is shown on your phone screen for the camera to use. At that point its supposed to connect to your wifi. Sounds easy right? Except the camera is super finicky about the qr code. You have to hold the phone back and slowly bring it in... or you can use an audio sound to connect, but thats just as finicky. If youve made it this far, kudos to you. I almost drop kicked this thing down the street before I managed to get it connected. At this point you might think, great were good to go. I didnt want to pay for a cloud service on a device I wasnt sure about. So I plugged in a micro SD card. Theres a spot in the app to view the trigger recordings, but it wont let you view where you want on the time line. Any time you scroll on the time line it pops back to a random spot. The only way I could look at the videos was to remove the card and plug it into my computer. No time line, just raw videos. You might think at this point maybe I could just use this as a camera and not bother with the motion videos... then it disconnects. Maybe the power went out, or you had to reboot the modem your wifi is connected to. It doesnt just reconnect when it goes offline. The only way to reconnect is to delete the camera in the app and go through the pain staking process of adding it all over again. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time with this camera.

Live picture is fine. Cannot expand alert photos which is really annoying. Two new SIM cards for video recording were rejected as corrupted. Must buy cloud to get recordings.

It came beautifully packaged and this is truly an edifying set for Orthodox men and women and children. 5 out of 5.
