Sturdy pail, easy to clean, sturdy handle, but the dog swings it around and the water splashes right out, not good if you have a splasher, otherwise fantastic, we found a way to just tie it in so he can’t shake it around.

Fits great in the kennel for times when I need to kennel my dog for a couple of hours, he is never in there for long periods of time. The flat side makes it hang nicely against the kennel wall.

THIS pail does not have a hook to hang bucket on side of wire crate. I didnt notice that in picture. I now have to buy a clip to attach.

I use a stainless steel S-biner to affix the flat side to the inside of my 4 hens coop at wattle level and the 2 quart size keeps them supplied all day (even two days in cool weather). I do change it out every day so they can have fresh (not stale or frozen water). I live in Virginia so it is almost never freezes completely during the day, but it does sometimes at night and no damage to the bucket! I just turn it over, and give them a nice, clean, full bucket for the day, by evening the ice is out and ready to be rinsed and set up for the next morning. No gunk grows in these, partly because I clean and dry them every day between each use, but also because the stainless steel (no, a magnet does not stick) is good quality. Happy hens!
