PSP UMD Case

Better than expected product!

Nice trifold hard case. UMD discs stay in well. I’d recommend it to a friend.

I bought this because i got tired of opening and closing cases to get my games. So i go this and it works perfectly. It has magnets so they dont slip and slide when you open the case. Its tightly closed to it doesnt fly open. It only holds 8 UMDs at once so if your playing more then 8 games at once then dont buy this. If you playing only a few then this is what you need.

This case is extremely weak compared to the other PSP UMD (ASIN: B000K8ZXK4) also made by Sony. The ASIN: B000K8ZXK4 case is very solid and firmly constructed, while the hinges on this case are weak and flimsy. Honestly, I feel as though this case will break in my hands. Sony did the PSP UMD users a disservice by changing the construction of the case to this weaker form. I know people will disagree with me. My Son loves this version of the case because as he says its held together by magnets and doesnt weigh as much. I know Sony is pushing downloading games, but having the game, movie, etc in my hand is a make or break issue for me. My hope is Sony wont ignore those of us who prefer UMD and continue to make this accessory (both formats / styles). Actually adding a UMD catalog accessory (e.g. a case that holds say 80 or more UMD) would be well received by this owner of multiple PSP-3000 systems, games, and movies.

This item is soo awesome, I can’t say enough about it. It holds 8 games... magnetically. Yup, no clips or anything like that. Perfectly fit in slots and just set them in there.... that’s it. Came brand new. If my collection grows I’ll get more, since I ordered another one already

I dont know if i would recommend this case. I think its better than most on here or anywhere. But THE BEST one ive got was from GAMESPOT. I only seemed to find those in America. I cant find them on ebay or anywhere. Maybe GAMESPOT website if they have them for sale or something. I never checked. But i know that in the GAMESPOT store you will find better 8 UMD cases. This one opens up double sidedly.

I needed a case to store my UMDs. I decided to purchase a hard-shell case from Sony. I dont regret this purchase. Its a good size and holds up to 8 UMDs at a time. The hard-shell is durable for safe storage and the occasional accident. The UMDs are held by magnets. The only drawback is that its an accordion-style case. It takes some getting used to and is sometimes a little hard to close. I also wish it had come with a strap. Despite these minor drawbacks, I like this case.
